Why do you guys think the broncos didn't keep Tebow when Manning arrived? They could have used him in the same type of situations but you know Peyton Manning wouldn't have put up with that shit.

We were also trying to attract Manning away from other teams not to mention there was a ton of Tebow support from what happened in 2011... That's obviously not going to be the case at his next stop if the team that signs him already has an entrenched vet at QB.

The best spot for Tebow is a team that doesn't have an established QB and doesn't have an established identity.

That'd save them from having to worry about:

upsetting a QB who knows what he's doing...and taking the ball out of their hands.

disrupting something that's already proven to work just so they cam experiment with Tebow.

still giving Tebow the shot at QB that he wants, rather than trying to turn him into something else.

He could go to the Vikings or something, and put teams in a position where they have to deal with Peterson/Harvin/Tebow. Cause who gives a shit what Ponder thinks about it.

But sitting here pretending like the Peytons/Elis/Bradys/Rogers/Brees/etc. of the world would be cool with Tebow stealing snaps is unrealistic.

That's actually not a terrible scenario either.. The holes AP would see coming out of an zone read option would make for some fun viewing for sure.

I would go all-in with Tebow if I were the Jacksonville Jaguars. Build the entire offence around him, read option all the way. It's not like that franchise is relevant anyway.

And if the current Jags' GM and coach aren't in favour of going all-in with Tebow, fire both and find someone crazy enough to make it work.

The Jags suck, they could use the attendance boost, and Tim Tebow - legit QB or not - is a compelling story ... and a winner.

You guys are funny. Nobody is suggesting that Tebow should waltz into New England or NeW Orleans or whatever and take 20% of the snaps. We're talking specialized packages like before he took over for Orton. A handful of plays every game, where the starting QB may not even come off the field.

Calling it now. Tebow either ends up on a team with a star QB, where a "will he start" distraction is impossible, or starting for Jacksonville. I still say New England. I'll bump this when i'm right.

Another crappy season? Been there, done that.

Get a brilliant offensive mind in there, give Tebow a Tebow offence ... if it works, great. If it doesn't, nothing ventured, nothing gained. It's not like the Jags would be messing with a Super Bowl contender taking this chance.

I think we can all agree on one point, which is the Jets clearly did not use Tebow to the best of his abilities.

-a handful of plays at TE & FB (zero receptions)

-punt team, where he successfully gained a couple of first downs on fakes, but was also stuffed on another, and the Jets allowed two blocked punts

-only 8 attempted passes (6 completed) and 32 rushing attempts, for a grand total of 141 yards and no points scored

I will give Rex Ryan credit. He clearly never wanted the guy on his team, and refused to bow to his owner and play him.

Jacksonville doesn't have the defense to support Tebow and the 3 and out nonsense he produces. They need to draft well again and get some help for Gabby who is still a young QB playing with a bad cast of characters. A healthy MJD and a 2nd year Justin Blackmon will boast this instantly. Their defense is pretty bad and they to focus on getting help there.

Tim Tebow just isn't the answer for them.

My problem with Gabby is it took Henne for fans to discover Blackmon. Is Gabby really the guy? Jacksonville was a better team with Chad Henne.

Again, just my opinion, Jacksonville has nothing to lose going all-in with Tebow. I agree their D is nowhere near Denver's of 2011, but Tebow is just a winner. He finds a way to win. And it's not like Jacksonville is messing with a winning formula.

I thought the Jets were insane to bring Tebow in from day one. Their starting QB already had a fragile psyche, then you bring in Tebow ... really? Not a Sanchez fan, but if you're gonna commit to the guy, you absolutely go nowhere near Tebow.

3 out of 32 teams does not equal heavy interest or "lining up around the block for him" ..

There may be 1-2 teams max who would take him, and everything about this circus, on.. but not many more than that.
