I don't buy New England or Green Bay. I agree with most - you don't take snaps away from Rodgers or Tebow ... and you don't bring that circus in. Same reason why he disappeared from Denver the second they signed Peyton Manning. I absolutely believe the Jags should go all-in with Tebow, but Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady don't play QB for Jacksonville.

Again, just my opinion, Jacksonville has nothing to lose going all-in with Tebow. I agree their D is nowhere near Denver's of 2011, but Tebow is just a winner. He finds a way to win. And it's not like Jacksonville is messing with a winning formula.

I thought the Jets were insane to bring Tebow in from day one. Their starting QB already had a fragile psyche, then you bring in Tebow ... really? Not a Sanchez fan, but if you're gonna commit to the guy, you absolutely go nowhere near Tebow.
What? Gabbert was playing better then Henne. If anything they are pretty close statistic wise.

Blackmon outside of that one game where he had two insanely long plays is playing about the same with Henne as Gabbert.

Blackmon is 2nd is rookie Wrs this year in recieving and had the 3rd most yards. If they were running short pass plays to him all year and trying to go deep (similar situation to Kendall Wright in Ten) he'd be having an even better year.

Jacksonville has a lot to lose with Tebow. Another year blown with MJD as the RB and a crop of young recievers who won't get the ball cuz Tebow doesn't know how to throw properly. You're not making any sense.

        Leafs offseason training!

Jacksonville has been a better team with Henne. No one can deny that. I am not writing off Gabbert, but I hardly see him as a franchise QB.

Everytime I read one of daves posts in the sports forums I get this deja vu feeling and then realize I heard the same statement on sportscenter earlier in the day.

And the funny part is I rarely watch TV. Every TV series I watch is on DVD/Blu-Ray or on-demand 360 or Ps3. I never watch SportsCentre ... seriously.

I hate to say it but Pandy's Minnesota scenario is probably the best fit for Tebow IMO. Whether they are willing to send Ponder down the river to bring him in or not i don't know..

Dave continues to troll the NFL discussion with a Bayless-esque performance.

That's not really true at all. Outside of a few late-game drives, Gabbert looked pretty bad. Henne hasn't. Blackmon's numbers are up across the board with Henne, even outside of his one huge game that he probably wouldn't have had with Gabbert at QB. Gabbert against anything else other than that late game, soft zone "give up the lead" coverage is a below-average at-very-best QB. Henne, while probably not a long-term solution, has shown to be average. Even going back to him getting injured at Miami.

So daves main argument on why Jacksonville should say fuck Gabbert who actually showed some promise this year before he got hurt, And get Tebow because "he's a winner" really? If Tebow was anywhere near a decent QB he would have won the starting job in New York.

Blaine Gabbert still sucked this year, lets not forget this.

Gabbert stinks, and Jacksonville can't give away tickets.

The only city in the NFL I would sign off on starting Tebow is Jacksonville. It's worth a shot and they have nothing to lose. Inject some excitement into a fan base that deserves it.
