Okay but in your comment you stated the Cowboys have gotten older and worse since Phillips was bounced.

If only you would of watched every Cowboys game, you would of noticed how many times this defense was fucked by Tony Romo.

Never said anything about him being an amazing defensive cord elsewhere just that since he has been with the Cowboys there has been an ample amount of improvement..

Tony Romo doesn't have shit to do with yardage allowed.. A stat in which Rob Ryan has NEVER had his defenses in the top 10 of.

If anything those short fields off of INTs would have helped the Cowboys give up LESS yardage.

You guys fired an assistant who has done nothing in over 8 years to prove himself to be anything special. You should be happy, not attacking other posters.

Shut the fuck up Glen, I get so tired of reading your stupid ass posts in here.

You can't even keep your own shit right, dumbfuck. Stop being so active, your posts suck.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

Whatever.. please hire Rob Ryan by all means.

I hope you're on the Broncos' schedule every year.

I thought it was mostly with the injury. Looked timid at all times, not just during those option plays. In either case, with the injuries he had he should've been sitting, but that's just me.

I don't blame Ryan for this one. He pieced together a defense after injuries happened, which they do. Ravens had the same thing happen this year. I don't think the defenses performance down the stretch was anything to fire the guy over. I do think he's slightly overrated as a head coach, but he should not have been fired.

And then you lose your beacon of hope - RG3. Redskins and Eagles fans share the same luck. If we decided to jump off a building to end our misery, we'd live and just become quadriplegics.

Lee, Carter, Scandrick, Ware, Brent, Brown, Ratliff. 6 of those guys were out and Ware should have been. We had guys picked up off the street starting on our defense for a lot of the season.
can you post again how he had 7 players hurt....boo fucking hoo. welcome to the NFL where coaches have to coach backups. nothing about Ryan has ever screamed above average. he is not buddy ryan and is nothing more than a fat loud mouth who works well for teams who love headlines. Places like the NY Jets and Dallas Cowboys are franchises that dont care as much about winning as they do about having people talk about them...and the Ryans make people talk.

i dont understand why any cowboys fan would try and make excuses for this fat wally boob

Heard on the radio that Jason Garrett called him, while on vacation and notified him he was being let go.

It was a change for the sake of making a change. It probably wasn't the right call, but Dallas needed to change something to stick to the point that everyone is accountable. Dallas' offense wasn't going to change because Garrett is in charge of that and he's sticking around. So it had to be the defensive side, even if the defense over-performed this year.
