I can tell you that last year, he looked like the same player he always was. Fisher kept him fresh and gave Daryl Richardson 2-3 full series per game, which as a fan was frustrating because Jackson is the epitome of an every down player and I thought the Rams were a completely different team when he wasn't on the field. He still showed the same power, elite hands, and great cutback ability. The only area that may have regressed a bit was speed in the open field, but that was never his game anyway.

When a HB hits the wall, they hit it hard, and you never see it coming. That is always a possibility when a guy is 30, but if he's the same player he was last year, he'll have a big year on a good team that has other weapons, because he's somehow been highly productive on a terrible team with literally no other weapons for the last 8 years. He has two to three games per year where he just takes over. He'll be great in situations where he gets to close games, something he excelled in but rarely had the chance to do in St Louis.

I would have loved to seen him on the roster but maybe on a 1 year deal, the Packers have other guys they need to get re-signed.

I wasn't downplaying his ability as a runner. I'm simply saying that the Packers offense doesn't need the kind of help SJax can give to a team. He doesn't make our team a ton better because we simply wouldn't utilize him like other teams would. We need defense defense defense.

S-Jax/Quizz/Snelling make for quite the capable backfield. Each can run/catch/block, will be nice not to see Turner come in and hold the offense hostage again this season. Also excited to see what Quizz will do this year.

God damn that's sexy.. I don't wanna get my hopes up but this really feels like a Super Bowl season coming up. SB or bust for me. First time I've ever felt that way about professional football
