If somebody offers a package like that for a CB in today's NFL, you have to take it. Especially a CB coming off a major knee injury. Bucs are crazy. Did they see how collecting "shutdown" CB's worked out for the Eagles? When will these teams learn?

I think the 2000 Redskins exhibited a failed "Dream Team" project. They brought in nothing but names: Bruce Smith, Deion Sanders, Jeff George (post-Minnesota), drafted Arrington and Samuels back-to-back and still went 8-8.

You really have to love that rich football tradition in Atlanta. I don't know how you all have room in your trophy cases for all those NFC South division trophies. When your franchise has only been to the playoffs 12 times in its existence it's probably not a good idea to bring up this subject

From the Jets perspective, this would be great. Instead of getting more draft picks, grab just a first rounder, dump Sanchez and revis. Would be of huge value to the Jets.

Bucs are starting to squeeze back. Balking at the Jets asking price. Good for the Bucs.Whoever is pulling the strings in this deal (some say its Johnson holding the deal up), they are about to let a solid return walk. My guess is that the Jets cave come next Thursday night.
