This low life held a gun to someone's head and pulled the trigger - lol at thinking he'll change his ways.

I hope we release him. Hoping to draft a ILB.
Guess this guy's a forgone conclusion now eh?

I imagine the Ravens will cut him soon. They collected a bad image with all of the off-field issues over the years with some players, and have tried hard to counter that. I can't see McClain lasting with them.

The defense scheme Baltimore plays is about as close to Alabama's Defense scheme as the NFL has. So he will fit right in.

He's 6'4" 260lb, perfect size for our defense. I bet you any amount of money he will fit right in and make plays beside Suggs/Dumervil/Upshaw.

Is he an upgrade over Danelle Elerbe? possibly, I'd grade them even as of now.

ITT Glenbino injures his shoulder while patting himself on the back for calling this.

Is retired McClain still Ellerbe's "equal"?

Retired sounds so much better than cut again and nobody is interested

Meh, once his money gets low he will be back. We'll hear about how he's a change man, learned the error of his ways, blah, blah. I'd expect an E:60 segment as well.

What is he going to do for the rest of his life? As SuperKevin alluded to it sounds better that he retired rather than been cut, because he is 1. turrible and 2. is a headcase. He retires, tries to stay out of trouble for a year and returns a more mature and changed man. Some team will take a chance....ZOMG he played at Alabama under the Saban and he is only 24 years old.....we have to give him a chance!!!

What about the degree he earned, by taking advantage of the free college education granted to him for being a student-athlete?
