God damn, they got this cat dead to rights if all of this conjectured evidence holds up.

As guilty as he looks I would have to agree that he's about the farthest thing from a flight risk you can find. If he goes out to pick up the morning paper Ed Werder would break into a live broadcast to report it at this point.

You don't want him to possibly further interfere with the case either which is a point that was brought up at the bail hearing with the countless number of things he's already done.

He could attempt.. which would violate his bail and he'd be arrested and charged with yet another crime.

My point is he is still "innocent" at this juncture, isn't a flight risk and could likely post bail. If I were that county I'd be trying to get that free money right now.

Two more things to add to the list of Hernandez accomplishments

- He apparently told his fiancee to shut up and stop cooperating with the authorities. Prosecution said she informed police of this.

- They found a second home of his which contained lots of ammo.

If they slap a $5 mil bail on him that's $500,000 out of Hernandez's pocket they can use to help make the case against him that they currently don't have.

I really think the "threat" of there being a low speed car chase is offset by the taxpayers saving a half a million dollars to prosecute this guy.

And BTW I know how bail works and that AHearn gets the money back when he appears in court... I was just going with PTs logic of this guy posting hundreds of thousands of dollars of bail money and then trying to bounce.
