Carolina-Tampa Bay: How the hell is Greg Schiano still the coach in Tampa?
Buffalo-New Orleans: Expected Buffalo to lose here, but I think Marrone is a hell of a coach and this team has a future.
N.Y.Giants-Philly: Hey, Kelly ... it's ok not to run the read option with Barkley and Foles.
Detroit-Dallas: I had shit done to me like that in Madden with Calvin Johnson.
Kansas City-Cleveland: I love Kansas City fans, love the Chiefs, but this is not a legit 8-0 team. Stupid penalties and drops cost the Browns this game.
New England-Miami: New England might be the crappiest division winner ever, but in this division that's no big deal. Dolphins are laying the biggest egg after a fast start to the season ... ever.
San Francisco-Jacksonville: A real NFL team in London? No chance in hell any star player goes to London and accepts Queen Elizabeth's taxes.
Cincy-Jets: Is it crazy talk thinking Bengals might get to the Super Bowl?
Oakland-Pittsburgh: For all the talk about Pryor's mechanics and what-not, that guy is getting it done with the worst offensive supporting cast possibly in the NFL, save for McFadden who plays eight games a year.
Denver-Washington: I am all in on a Denver-Cincinnati AFC final right now.
Arizona-Atlanta: Falcons' season over. Trade Gonzalez to K.C. right now. Don't fire Mike Smith. He's a fine coach, just a season gone wrong.
Green Bay-Minnesota: Greg Jennings one catch, nine yards ... and, maybe it's just me, but I think Ponder is a better QB than Josh Freeman for that team right now. Maybe that will change, but I have my doubts.
Seattle-St. Louis: Kellen Clemens? Safe to say I can submit my week 8 report right now. This game is over.

no it was done with mirrors, right ?

yeah , I know there are teams who win who you see weaknesses of but theres no such thing as not legit. They have 8 wins with no losses= they have 8 wins with no losses. They are officially up and coming while the Patriots even with wins, you see declining.. slowly ..but still declining

I am not dismissing the Chiefs. I just don't see them as a Super Bowl team. IMO, they are the weakest 8-0 team, possibly of all time. But I mean this with all seriousness, I want the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. Greatest fans in the NFL and I'd love to see Andy Reid win a Super Bowl.

You can't ask for more than that. Those 200+ yards were basically inconsequential if the Offense does anything other than 3 and out with those extra chances. Disgusting clock management , no balance as usual, leaving Dez out of the attack early and out of the game when they needed a first to clinch victory.
This is just like the Giants game you take the ball 5 times and somehow the other team still has a chance ?
That stat line was very telling something like 60 times in recent years a team has had a +4 turnover ratio. Only once have they lost. Cowboys did it today and almost during the opener. That is some giant feat of failure.
Best reason to have a license.

you are arguing his meaning behind the usage of the word legit? seriously?

they might be 8-0, but they are playing a super weak schedule and they dont even look that good. they are barely winning and could easily be a 500 team

I'm definitely for trading TG to the Chiefs. Let him finish his final season by at least going to the playoffs. I still feel sorry for him coming back for 1 last shot at a ring and Falcons having their worst season since the Joey Harrington era.

Christian Ponder is fucking awful. Last night is the 3rd time I've watched one of his complete games, and I've made my final decision. This guy is a career backup, which I think fits him if you need a guy to come in for emergency purposes when your elite QB goes down. But other than that, he's terrible; can't read defenses, can't go through progression, piss poor accuracy.

Tonight is probably the 3rd atrocious MNF in a row that will be unbearable to sit through. I may just play GTA V instead. Not to mention, I fucking hate the Rams stadium. It's like watching a game being played in an old, rented out warehouse with shitty lighting. It's the Los Angeles Coliseum of dome stadiums.

When I saw that Miami/NE fumble play yesterday, that was my "Seinfeld gif" moment on the NFL. Complete nonsense.

This league is such a shit product. I just can't sink my teeth into this league anymore.

You should see the PI call and defensive holding calls earlier in the game on Miami. Both of which bailed NE out of 3rd downs and led them to field goals each time. Then there was Rashard Matthews long sideline catch, which granted I will give Philbin some blame for not throwing the challenge flag, but the stadium NOR CBS (yeah, the same network who has a restaurant attached to Gillette Stadium and has their analysts hanging out with the team owner), showed more than one replay from one odd angle. It was a catch called incomplete. There was no doubt his left foot came in bounds, it was the right in question. Look under the NE player's arm below. IMO, there needs to be a rule for replays put in place to make it equal for home and away teams. I'm actually surprised one hasn't been put in yet.

The Vernon fumble recovery/penalty was mind blowing. The ref took it upon himself to decide intent, which shouldn't be done. If it is not blatantly obvious then you cannot call it. In this case, it was not. More than that, though, I find the penalty specifics ridiculous:
                            1. Original team gets ball back
                            2. Original team gets ball back at original line of scrimmage
                            3. Original team is given 10 extra yards
                            4. Original team is given an automatic first down!!!!!!!!!

And finally: What's NE's penalty going to be this week from the league? After all, NE placed Brady on the injured list this week with a shoulder. All week it was his shoulder. Shows up to game, it's his hand and it's swollen. If your problem is a shoulder......and your hand is as swollen as it looked on Sunday, your ass better be in a hospital!!!!

I know this comes off as bitter, sore loser, but yeah, I'll admit that I am. Miami played poorly in the second half, but still well enough to win the game if the correct calls are made and there's no bullshit nonsense.

This is a stunning display. Really glad I passed on that game (although it was in favor of the barnburder Steelers/Raiders game). I was saying in the chatbox, I don't even know the rules anymore. There are no rules, as far as I can tell. I watched Vick get pretty much punched in the head, no call. Meanwhile, a Steeler defender has already been called for a penalty for this coming Steelers/Pats game because he thought about maybe breathing on Brady.
