Vick THINKS he is entitled to $10,000,000.00 per year

Now if ryan was to go lets say 25 tds 13 ints, and the falcons went 7-9 "omg the look at the team around ryan"

You try that with vick, no one seems to really realize his #1 wr was finneran, his #1 HB was dunn who was at the end of his career...

People who hate on vick are just looking for someone to hate on and he is the easiest target because he isn't the conventional QB... I'm sure people were hating on the forward pass when it was first being used...

Here lemme add some notes to this.

Whoa, now we are doing records "with notes", so its even easier for Vick fanboys to cherry-pick which 'facts' are relevent and which aren't.

I thought the whole "lets ignore Vick's performance and regular season record and instead focus on Vick's postseason win total" already went too far, but this takes the cake.

So basically the Falcons beating possibly the worst playoff team in NFL history (the 2004 Rams, who were 8-8 and gave up nearly 100 more points than they scored) and another postseason win over a depleted Green Bay squad somehow lets us ignore all of Vick's shortcomings. Brilliant!

LOL at your 'forward pass' analogy. The forward pass actually caught on and changed the course of the NFL. QBs who can't pass and who spend time in jail haven't become the 'next big thing' in the NFL yet.

How can you blame someone for notes? How is it fair to say everyone! look at vicks career... then add in his season with 2 games and his season he broke his leg... If your bringing up facts senser at least be impartial and either note he only played x amount of games or leave them off...

Man I think Tom Brady is a great QB his team went 11-5 this year...

Who said that? Vick had an average year and the rushing is inflated by the fact that his sack yardage didn't come off his rushing total. QB rushing yards=overrated in he NFL. Hell the record Vick broke was held by Bobby fucking Douglass

How could you possibly know that? It's hasn;t happened and Ryan isn't getting all the credit for the Falcons' success this season. All that is being said is Ryan was a factor, had a good season and is a better QB than Vick. Not that Ryan was the sole catalyst for the Falcons' season.

And when the Falcons tried to bring in #1 guys they regressed because Vick was not a good passer, especially accurately down the field to WR's. Why would anyone but Brian Finneran want to come play with Vick?

And when he had Dunn at his peak his stats were even worse. If Vick was half teh QB people make him out to be it wouldn't matter who his RB was and if he was at the end of his career or not. Vick would have been putting up number his entire NFL career.

First LOL at the irony of this statement, secondwhat Vick was doign wasn't revolutionary. Vick fans historic perspective is even skewed by what this guy did. What Vick was doing wasn't anything new that hadn't been done by Tarkenton, Douglass, Young, Cunningham, Elway to a certain extent, before him. On that list the only QB he is better than is Douglass and that's not even saying much.

Well, I for one will still live with the opinion that he was a great player, exciting to watch, and helped his team win games.

was he the best Quarterback in the league? Definitely not. but he was a hell of a player.
was he a GREAT QB? no

he was a decent QB because of his legs and ability to make plays when everything broke down. he wasn't a Great QB, but to act like he wasn't a hell of a football player is just hatred.

anyway, who says every quarterback has to be a pocket passer?
