NFL, total number of winning seasons per team 95' to 2013, 18 years

    woohoo colorful chart !

    Miami hasn't been that bad.
Rams= 4 lousy winning seasons with 2 Super Bowl appearances.

Cards, same as Rams minus one.

someone was probably a Patriots fan not counting the years of crap before 95

    ..Cleveland..

Patriots setting the standard with the Colts and Packers right behind. It's amazing how shitty some teams have been over a long period of time.

Cleveland, lol. It's also worth pointing out that the Steelers are right up there and doing it in a much tougher division than the 3 teams ahead of them. Not hard to have winning seasons when you get 6 guaranteed wins every year (Patriots).

Lions with 4...pretty sure 3 of those were in the 90's with Barry. Poor Cleveland.

Steelers and Eagles come off as the most impressive given divisional competition.
The mind boggling fact that the Vikings are up there is something that is hurting my brain. Thats just not a team I associate with winning...just always having a player I want to watch.Jets being in the upper half is something to be proud up. Pre-Parcells that franchise was a joke and a half.

if not for Favre they'd be tied with the Chargers at 8 I do believe.

Good find ram, pretty interesting comparison. Funny seeing teams with some recent success like the Bengals and Saints at the back of that group. Also hard to believe my Redskins were that bad, but they most certainly were at times.

I'm w/KOF about the Vikes. They have as many as the Ravens. Yikes.

No surprise are the Cowboys perpetually staying @ .500. 9 winning seasons, 9 non-winning seasons.

How many of us here are old enough to remember when the Raiders "Commitment to Excellence" was more than a motto?

And wouldn't you have thought the Rams' "Greatest Show on Turf" would have garnered more than 4 winning seasons? I'm thinking they would have zero if not for those guys.

The Rams with no staying power. Maybe Im making too much of him but usually when a franchise turns things around it lasts awhile. (Jets , Bucs for example). But Warners Rams and Cards had such wild tastes of success that were unsustainable without him.

And yeah the Raiders even after dropping from SB contention were at least a dangerous, entertaining team. Its really sad that they are this atrocious. Their success was a snub to standard NFL ways and good for the league and fans.

The music city miracle curse is real. I could blame frank Wychek and Kevin Dyson but really it was Wade Phillip's fault. He started Rob fucking Johnson over Doug Flutie. Flutie carried the team to the playoffs but Johnson had a matt Flynn type day against the shitdick colts in a week 17 game. Feels like buffalo has been 6-10 every season since.

At first thought, I would agree. But then you notice the only division w/3 teams w/10 winning seasons is the AFC East. So how bad has the division been? I might also add the Pats were in Peyton's division from 98-01. Then you realize the AFC North has the Ohio teams. Cleveland's ineptness is legendary & the Bengals were the Bungles until recently. So I think the Pats need to be given their due.

How about this.........Anyone notice the Jets have more winning seasons than the Giants?

???? THe Browns are the worst on this list and if you take out the last 3 years, the Bengals would be tied with the Browns for the worst in the league. Just because division rivals play each tough doesnt mean they play some top notch teams. Doesn't make them even more impressive then the teams in front.

I don't understand how anyone can say the Patriots aren't the most impressive. They've been to 6 Superbowls in 16 years between 1996 and 2011.

And Rams... they started at 1995 because thats the expansion seasons of the Jaguars and Panthers.

And the Browns didn't have a team in 1996 thru the 1998 seasons so they're at an obvious disadvantage on this chart. And the 1995 Browns team wasn't even apart of the same organization.
