I dont understand that at all ^
Lions already have alot of money tied up at LB (sims and Peterson) if they take Curry thats a huge portion of their cap just on LBS. Plus Curry isint that type of player , alot of people have said hes alot like a Jerod Mayo at OLB (Mike Mayock being one of them) . Hes not an exceptional pass rusher or exceptional in coverage ...would he improve thier lb core ? Sure , is he a BIG difference maker ? I dont think so to be honest. Hes good at lots of things but isint really amazing at one given thing , that may be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Hes the best player in a weak draft in terms of the top players (not depth).
The safe pick is an olinemen , cause even if hes not as good as you wished you can move him to RT where he can do a solid job.
