Well have fun being the laughing stock in the NFL for another 7 years. Whether or not you agree with what Josh McDaniels has done, he's bringing a team first Patriot's mentality to Denver, we will see how it works on the field. But one thing is for certain, the raiders will suck again in 2009.

In Elway's first two seasons in the NFL, he had 25 touchdown passes.
      russell has thrown 15.

The stats don't lie, russell has been down right terrible, and can't throw down field in the NFL. Make an excuse for those stats. I don't give a shit who your WRs are. Jake Plummer threw for 4,500 yards with Ashley Lelie, and Rod Smith, who was on the verge of breaking his hip (Smith was a great WR, but he was slowing down a lot at this point in his career), as his WRs. Meanwhile russell had a WR whose making 55 million, so he must be good. Oh wait Javon Walker sucks, and the raiders were stupid enough to give him 4 times what he's worth. LOL!
Elway played more games in his 1st 2 seasons than Russell did so he should have more tds. Why didn't you mention the fact that he threw more INTs also.

Elway actually had the balls to throw it down field too. russell seemed content to throw 3 completions, each for a three yard gain, and then jog to the sideline so he could eat more donuts.

Its not like the broncos were never the laughing stock of the NFL or anything. You can say what you want about the raiders not being good but the broncos haven't been world beaters themselves.

I don't judge any player at any position on any team after just 1 year of play.
Its not that I'm trying to defend him, all I'm saying is give him a chance.

That's cool I'm still waiting for you to make an excuse for russell's terrible passing stats. The dude simply could not throw down field.

You mean.. the Raiders finally realized Jamarcus Russell is a piece of shit?

That's actually a good sign for Raider fans.. sadly there are 100 other things to worry about

Despite having several bad drafts, and giving a few bums big contracts in free agency, the Broncos were always competitive, under Mike Shanahan's 14 years as head coach. They only had a losing record two times, in those 14 years. The raiders on the other hand, have changed coach, every other year, for the past 7 years, and have become the laughing stock of the NFL. I'm proud to say that never happened to the Broncos.

Too bad, al davis has brainwashed these raider fans, they seem to be as senile as davis is.

By the way I would wager the Raiders best QB on the roster is actually their 3rd string RB.

Everybody knows the raiders passing offense in general was bad. Their best WR was the TE.

I don't give a shit. Plenty of QBs, good and bad, put up great numbers with shitty WRs. Jake Plummer threw for 4,500 yards in a season with shitty WRs, he had an old Rod Smith, and no one else! Tom Brady put up good numbers before he got Moss and Welker. Donovan McNabb has never had great WRs either. Hell journeymen QB's like Senaca Wallace, put up a lot better numbers then russell, and Seattle's WR situation was worse the the raiders!

Im proud to say the raiders are not 1 of the 3 teams tied for the most superbowl losses.

I'm proud to say, John Elway was good enough, to make the Broncos the best team in the AFC on a regular basis, despite having no talent to help him out. The Bronco teams in the '80s weren't that good, but John Elway was great, one of the greatest, if not the best QB of all time.

But seriously dude, cut the shit. I don't need to be reminded of any Bronco shortcomings in the past, because they're still better then the raiders. Right now I just want to hear one legitimate reason why we shouldn't consider jamarcus russell a piece of shit and a terrible NFL player. You've been avoiding giving a reason for 3 pages now...
