You just said you were comparing Russell's upward college career curve to his alleged upward NFL career curve.
Are you retarded or are you just fucking with me now? I was never comparing Russell's upward college career curve to a potentially upward NFL career!!! I was just arguing with Hass and a couple of other guys who said Russell's accuracy and play at LSU sucked when that is far from true (based on his junior season, I've already admitted his first two seasons he sucked and was average). For the thousandth time, I am not saying his college stats represent his NFL ability.

And the point wasn't that he sucked in college, the point was that his stats weren't THAT good for a #1 overall pick, and he only had one good year in college.

Completely disagree that it takes 3 seasons, but thats not the point. My point was that this was a make or break year for Russell. He can't suck this entire year too and expect the Raiders to fart around with him for a fourth season. If a player is taken #1 overall and he's still not producing after 3 seasons, he's a bust. But you seem to be saying the same thing (now).
I've been saying this the whole fucking time you cunt wart.

Read: I don't have proof so don't ask. And I'm sure Garcia talks to Russell. It happens. They sit in on meetings together. The point is Garcia isn't HAPPY to be mentoring Russell because he is already talking about starting and they haven't even officially named Russell the starter yet.

Actually at this point all that matters is what Garcia wants to do. If he wants to start he's going to plasy and prepare like it and compete with JR for the job. The Raiders are so "confident" in JR that Garcia and him took nearly equal reps last week in minicamp. Doesn't sound like a classic starter/backup scenario to me

Just for shits and giggles, here are the wide receivers on Oakland's roster. I'd be very impressed if any of you guys even know where 4 of these guys played in college without looking it up.

        Johnnie Lee Higgins
        Chaz Shilens
        Darrius Heyward-Bey
        Javon Walker
        Todd Watkins
        Louis Murphy
        Jonathon Holland
        Todd Watkins
        Sammie Parker

With Javon Walker over the hill and hurt every season, Samie Parker is the most experienced WR on the roster with 4 seasons under him, and he has always sucked.

Everyone else has less than 2 seasons under their belt.

Again. Did I ever call him good? Show me the post where I said he was good.

I said he was better than anything the Bears had. Being better than absolute shit doesn't make you good.

I'm still "lol'ing" at you not being able to read.

I lied, not impressed, since DHB and Louis Murphy just got drafted, and Javon Walker was once a pro-bowl player.

And Samie Parker went to Oregon, not FSU.

              Good try though.

lol @ you saying you actually follow the Raiders. Don't know who you are trying to fool with that.

Sammie Parker just got signed and I I corssed him up with that suckass the Chiefs drafted years ago from FSU in the 1st Rd.

Hell I bleed orange and blue as a Bears fan and honestly couldn't name where every player on their team/WR corps went to school.

I watch the Raiders a lot. Always liked them a bit groing up. Loved the unis. Hell I have an NFL Films CD in my car right now with the ol school Raiders "The wind is like a Pirate" tune on there.

Samie Parker was drafted by the Chiefs in 2004 but in the 4th round. Don't know who you are confusing him with?

I think a lot of older NFL fans have a spot for the Raiders because of the personalities on their teams in the 70s and 80s. If you didn't absolutely hate them, you probably liked them a little bit.

This new generation of NFL fans is completely the opposite though, as everyone hates them, obviously.

                    And here's my go:

                    Devin Hester - Miami
                    Brandon Lloyd - Tennessee
Sammie Davis JR - San Jose State
                    Marty Booker - ?
Earl Bennett - Vanderbilt I think, haven't never anything of him so I could be wrong
                    Devin Aromashadu - Auburn?

And I don't know any others off the top of my head.
