I suppose you're right.. I just cant help but feel that Mir was lucky that Lesnar was so green and mad that mistake. Not that he needed luck to perform the sub.. he was just lucky Brock pretty much gave it to him. Of course theres skill involved for Frank, not everyone can pull off that kinda shit.. but Brock still pretty much gave it to him.. so in essence, isnt Frank lucky for that?

The only thing you can say was 'luck' if you tried hard enough was that Mir was lucky Brock didnt know what to do, but to me thats more of a skill issue, not luck

I had Akiyama winning, I think the takedowns got him the win and he was still landing good shots in the 3rd

I thought Belcher won the fight, but its arguable on either side. Akiyama might've slightly pulled out the 3rd round.. that round was hard to judge. IMO it was clear Belcher won round 1, and Sexyama won round 2. I was pretty surprised to see Akiyama get all three rounds from one of the judges.

I don't think it was clear he won round 1 at all. He had one knockdown but otherwise was being outstruck. This isn't boxing, a knockdown doesn't automatically win the round. I probably would have scored it 29-28, but I can see how someone saw it 30-27. Belcher went away from everything he was doing well in Round 3 and was consistently eating hard punches from a guy who had one eye

I'd say lesnar vs mir I was not luck, nor skill, it was experience vs lack of experience, and thats why mir is "lucky" because lesnar gave it to him after he was dominating the whole start of the fight.
