I was going to make the thread on this, but was about to leave. The most interesting fight is easily Silva/Griffin. If Silva wins, he wins against a young former champion still in his prime at a higher weight class. Silva has a lot to win in this scenario and if he wins convincingly, he might stand a chance of getting a #1 contender match in the LHW division.

Needless to say, with a win, Silva might secure himself some more credits as the current best P4P fighter simply because of his ability to fight outside of his normal weight class and dominance as of late.

certainly not the deepest card this year for ufc, but hard to not be excited for Penn defending his title and Silva - Griffin. Pellegrino - Neer could be a great fight and finally get to see Sadollah make his debut after winning TUF over a year ago

Only couple fights I'm interested in

BJ will smash Florian IMO, he is the best LW in the world, I dont see what Florian has to stop BJ, maybe get him into later rounds and attack BJs 1 weakness, his cardio, but I dont see Florian having the tools to do it

Forrest gets the win against And1, if you want to see what it will look like, go watch Randy vs Vitor 1 for better understanding, Forrest will push And1 around, smash him into the cage, take him down, grind him out, make it ugly, Silva wont be able to work his clinch on a much taller fighter

I see a point where And1 is under a 230 lbs Forrest looking up at thr clock and waiting for the round to end with Forest dropping elbows on his face

Nice to see Amir fianlly fighting, hope he wins, but he hasnt had much cage time, so who knows

^ I think Silva's pissed and wants to silence all his critics. hes gonna come out like a madman and whoop some ass. griffin is going to come into the fight a lot bigger and he will have the advantage there but theres a reason Silva's considered a top 5 fighter in the world. i expect to see the Spider of old come out Saturday night.

a lot of people are soured on Silva from his last couple fights and understandably so, but lest we forget hes 9-0 since coming to the UFC and never even been in danger of losing a fight (unless you wanna count the one round Hendo took from him). he gonna be ducking jiving and popping griffin in his mug. griffin may have the size but silva has the superior technique and skill

Lutter mounted Silva, he better not let Forrest do that and Dan had him in a rough spot in round 1

The weight is huge, thats why there is weight classes, its not just for fun

Silva can win this, I'm not saying that, Forrest doesnt have the greatest chin and Silva is very accurate, so it could happen, plus Forrest doesnt have punching power

Forrest is going to make this an ugly fight, if And1 tries to put the clinch on Forrest he is going to lift his head, push out his chest and Silva wont be able to knee him and Forrest will body lock him and take him down

If Silva wins, it will be from dancing and running the entire 3 rounds and getting a decision

I have a gut feeling that Kenny Florian will pull off the upset against BJ and I hope that Forrest will demolish Anderson Silva. I am just not a fan of his.

I can't think of any one reason why but my gut is telling me he will pull off the upset, bigger upsets have happened.

I got Penn and Silva...I am more inclined to think like Rob, if I were breaking the fight down (re: Silva-Griffin), but I can't bet against Spider just yet. Somehow, somewhere, he wins.
