- Kane and Toews are just getting better
- if Hossa has a good season
- Huet proves he was worth the money
- third and fourth lines are getting deeper (Madden, Byfuglien, etc)
-Got some much needed vet leadership in Pronger, who just happens to be one of the better defensemen in the game.
-Healthy Briere, Gagne(hopefully) and the first full season for Claude Giroux.
-Players like Richards, Carter, Hartnell, Coburn, Parent gaining experience and maturing as players.
Won't
-Goaltending still a major question and will make or break the Flyers season
-Not much physical presence on D outside of Pronger
-If Briere and Gagne can't stay healthy, the scoring depth drops significantly. Especially after losing players like Lupul and Knuble.
I agree with this, very strong scoring depth with a solid defense but the goaltending is still suspect
