Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff offcially start up new promotion

Condon Sports and Entertainment and KnokX Pro Entertainment will be the local promoters.

Hogan will be going to Australia later this month for a promotional tour when tickets go on sale on 9/24.

No names other than Hogan have been announced.
    Hmm....lemme guess...

Brian Knobbs, Brutus Beefcake, & Jimmy Hart.

Hogan can barely walk at this point, let alone work a typical horrible Hogan match, so this is obviously what happens when you have a messy divorce,

This is probably going to be worse than it sounds... and it sounds bad...

W2B, I'm guessing you've seen some of Hogan's Japan work from the 80s.... What do you think? He could actually work decently, but basically didn't have to in the WWF or WCW...

Yes it'll be a wreck. Already by naming the federation HULKAMANIA they've killed themselves.

I have no idea what would be in someone's brain for someone to truly think calling a real life promotion "Hulkamania" being a good idea.

This isnt a Promotion like WWE, TNA, ROH... etc. Its just a chance for Hogan to wrestle in Australlia.... possibly for the 1st and last time.

WrestleZone.com can confirm that this is NOT the launch of a new full-time wrestling promotion. Rather, it's simply an Australian tour that will be promoted locally by Condon Sports and Entertainment and KnokX Pro Entertainment.

                    Calling it Hulkamania makes sense.

I never saw a guy decline so rapidly as Hogan.

He was never a great worker in the traditional sense, but his stuff from Japan in the early 80's was pretty damn good. He fit the mold of gaijin killer heel to a tee...he was big, and was very fast and aggressive for a guy his size. Some of his AWA stuff was just as good.

Fast forward a mere 3 or 4 years, and he had turned into a big stiff. Part of this was he got lazy, because American crowds are easier (can't really blame him for that, even many guys today work harder in Japan, because they know they have to). But his physical ability also decline pretty rapidly.

Perfect example--dig up some of the old Hogan/Andre matches from Japan circa 1982, 1983. Compare those to the WM3 match roughly 5 years later. You wont even believe you are watching Andre The Giant....he could really move in those days.

But at least Andre has a legitimate excuse for falling off--he was sick, there was no cure in those days, and he was slowly dying before our eyes.

The early 80's Hogan/Andre matches were very good big men matches.

I'll agree with W2B...the ones later in the WWF were nothing like it. I understand why, but yeah...

Heh think i'll have fun with this in EWR by making the promotion, signing them, and then only signing old ass guys and former WCW dudes. (At least the ones that aren't pissed at him for holding them back...so it might be tough to find any hah)

Think running Australia right as TNA is ramping up to run there will help him get in.... I dont.
