My fuckin christ this team needs Reimer back.

Pretty annoying to watch a team pretty much have control of the whole game only to see it get pissed away by goalies playing like amatures.

Without Reimer they've somehow managed to go 5-4-1 with gusto having .880 sv% and 3.68gaa lulz. The other goalie .890 and 3.78gaa LOL.

Unless Remier is out till new year, no real reason to pull a trigger on the goalies. Though you already know now the monster is not the goalie of the future for Toronto, so use that guy as trade bait. Remier is #1, then get a solid old guy (Ty Conklin, Auld, etc) to play back up. A goalie that will take $1M contract and be happy.

I just read that the Flyers lead the league in goals scored right now with 56...pretty crazy considering everyone doubted they would be able to score at all after losing the players they did over summer.

Gusto needs to just goto another team at this point. It's sad because I see the talent and the ability there he just lets in some of the most boneheaded goals that his confidence just gets rattled. He also has a tendacy to get way too pissed off and goes into fuck it mode.

The leafs need an avg. goalie but the way their luck is going with goaltenders over the last 3 to 4 years anyone who comes in will probably get run over by a car or some other freak injury.

Eh take away the 9, 7 and 8 goals for games against teams that equal 14 - 25 - 5 and you probably still have a team avg. less goals for a game then the team they had last season.
