Vrbata on the All Star Team yet?

I remember when the Lightning were trying to bury him in the minors.....nice to see this season come out of Vrbata.

Hell of a season for him so far. Time is running out, but I am still hopeful that he gets included on the team somehow.

Jeff Carter is 100% available according to Dreger.

I guess he isn't attached to Columbus at all. Hasn't helped he's been injured half the time.

It took Nash and the GM to fly to New Jersey just to get him to leave his house once he was traded this summer. Apparently he went into a pretty deep depression once he learned he was going to the BJ's. He thought he was spending his whole career in Philly with his boys Mike Richards and Scotty Hartnell.

Honestly if you told me at the end of last year that Hartnell would be on the team this year, Richards and Carter would be traded and Scotty would be the all star out of those three I would piss myself laughing and think you were Eklund. Pretty bizarre how things have turned out.

I'd imagine he'd be healthier if he was happy where he was playing.

Just like Turris who sucked in Phoenix then starts to look good once he gets to Ottawa.


Simply put, if you're going to trade for a player who's "moody", make sure he wants to play for your team.

Injuries have really killed him this year.

Oddly enough he was still on pace for a 20 goal year and if he played every game he'd be just a bit below his pace he set in philly.

Pretty sure he's a 2nd/3rd liner but on Calgary he was playing everywhere.

I remember a few years back where teams didn't want Thomas, despite the fact that Boston tried to give him away due to his contract. Amazing how things change.
