How the hell did Thornton get a major/misconduct on this hit? They're really going to punish him for Perron skating with his head down?

Probably because he got hurt. Most cases where they get suspended for this shit is if the person gets hurts.

Perron didn't miss any shifts and scored a goal later, so hopefully they rescind the misconduct tomorrow.

Oh, alright. I didn't watch the game, just assumed he got hurt. If he's not hurt I see no reason to suspend him or anything because it wasn't a dirty hit at all.

Blind side hit.... Jesus christ that was a good hit and he shouldn't be suspended at all.

Should of been no penalty called on Thornton and should of been no suspension. The NHL is making me sick with these terrible decisions.
