Really good game last night for Flyers fans, lots of fights and hits....should be interesting when they play the Isles again on Saturday.

Damn ... I played NHL 11 before the game tonight.
My Canadiens lost to Florida 3-1 in that game.
In the real game, Canadiens lost 3-1.
Last fucking time I play NHL before the real game.

There was a novel I read as a kid that was like this. But instead of a video game, it was one of those hockey tables with the rods to move players.


The people who played it were these two sisters who lived next door to the main character/hockey player. They would "sim" his game the night before. One chapter they were worried because his guy on the stick fell off, and in game he got hurt. Good old childresn books.

Briere suspended 3 games for his cross-check off the face-off to an Islanders head the other night, ***RUMOR*** is that the Islander said something about the serious car accident Briere and his son were in over Summer, but who really knows.

Eric Wellwood (Kyle's brother) made his NHL debut tonight for the Flyers and played a pretty good game, in case anyone cares haha.
