In the end it's benefiting Vancouver because they are working harder and building momentum off the kills. You know they'll get some PP's as the game goes on and I'd expect them to capitalize when those chances come.

Setoguchi deserves to be benched until he starts skating, his effort is terrible.

I like Thornton and have no problems with him outside of when he's slashing Bozak when taking faceoffs

They haven't replayed it yet but I don't think thornton got high sticked. He did sell it well though.

Refs realized they had to wipe out the penalty differential and our PK strategy of standing in front of the net and hoping we block the shot didn't work?

As I predicted, they'd get PP's and score on them. Although 3 straight 5 on 3's is just lulz.

Niemi should have had that 2nd goal, that went right through him.

Outside of Thornton, Marleau and the 4th line, the forwards have quit and aren't working at all.

Huge meltdown by SJ in the 2nd. Three 5 on 3's in a row and 3 goals on 4 shots for Vancouver this period.

Will be interesting to see if Vancouver decides to sit back this period. If they do, SJ can do this.

Really need a better effort from Setoguchi and Heatley, though. Don't know what is wrong with those 2.
