He makes a valid point PP. Boston needs to steal games in order to win the cup. They can't get into a fire fight with Vancouver, as their offence trumps Bostons easily. And if that powerplay gets going as well, it will be lights out every time.

Plus lets face it, Thomas can only keep them in games for so long. I fully expect a shilling within the next couple of games, because that is generally what happens. You can't rely on your goalie all the time to win you games.

I'm sure the turnover/takeaway stat would be a good start. If they actually kept track of time on attack that would be another good one.

The bruins are just getting out hit, out played and out smarted.

Really where the difference is between these 1 goal games and the canucks blowing them out is Thomas. The guy has made some awesome saves.

If you add up hits, shots, faceoffs etc it is pretty even. Stupid turnovers is what is killing the bruins.
