That almost spells the end of CBC because they lost Jeff Merek to Sportsnet because he wanted a fulltime gig, and he didn't know how long CBC would run.

CBC still has 3 years left on their HNIC deal so it'll be a while before we see if a new horse takes over for the saturday night games.

Hung out with Setoguchi last night. He went out and bought an Aston Martin right after he signed the new deal with the Sharks. Funny to listen to him talk about how pissed he is about going to Minny but it was kind of annoying since the guy is 24 years old and driving a fucking aston martin and making millions.
