All these James Neal goals are nice, but I wish we could have used a few of them in the playoffs last year.

But seriously, Neal's on fucking fire to start the season off. Imagine how deadly he'll be when Crosby is back and Malkin is back at 100%.

Crosby, Malkin, Kennedy, Orpik, and Jeffery's are all out from injury and Letang is out for 2 games for suspension. Got to love the depth of pittsburgh. Three centremen and two defence out and we still win.

I was not loving Neal to start the season because of what happened last year and he seemed like he couldn't hit in the net. But good to see him ripping it up for the Pens. Have we finally found the winger for crosby?

The Flyers are over the cap now but are allowed to be because of Lappy and Betts being on the LTIR.....obviously this isn't a long-term solution so you have to think they're going to make a move soon. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Hartnell traded, can't pay a 3rd line winger that kind of money and he hasn't been getting as many minutes as he used to.

I thought he played well considering the monster played like shit once again. If reimer was in net that game would of easily been closer. Boston played like shit in the last two periods.

Injuries are already creeping in though.

8 goals now. Lost bozak so now he's down to steckle/lombardi centering him (lombo's not that bad though) and still leading the nhl.

Jets looked very good tonight, although they got some strange goals in the 2nd on Boucher. Chris Mason did a great job coming off the bench and he was a big reason they didn't allow Carolina to get close when they went on a 4 minute powerplay. MTS Centre should become a place that no one wants to come to very soon if not already.
