Talk about Leafs vs Wings next year is really heating up. Some are saying its already 100% done (which I don't believe).
TV Numbers from Philly/New York are expected to be down this year. Having the game not on New Years day @ 3pm in the afternoon when a lot of people worked probably screwed it.

The trade winds are howling.
Ducks pretty much said everyone is available except Selanne and Koivu because of their NTCs.
Rick Nash said today he would waive his NTC if the Jackets asked him.
Carolina is unsure what they are right now and are said to be waiting till the trade deadline before moves might be made. This is normal for the Canes though.

I told wr50l in october that Getzlaf or Ryan would be dealt, Ryan seems to have the rumours about him and if I was the Ducks I'd trade him of the two. #1 centres are harder to come by and Ryan has more trade value IMO.
I actually hope the Ducks continue to tank, as I think if Selanne would be willing to waive his NTC for one last playoff run....why not drive down the road to San Jose? He's played there before and adding him would be incredible for the postseason. Just a random wish tho.
If Nash is saying he wants out then that franchise is dead. Carter wants out too, god what a waste of a team that franchise is. Terrible city, arena, name, logo, jersey....everything about them fucking sucks.
Eklund (lol) has rumours about Carter to Toronto, Bernier to Toronto, Iginla to Philly/Washington, Semin to Detroit....
Also seems to think the Canadiens are going to try and get Guy Boucher from Tampa to come coach next season.
Regardless of his rumour mill, there are in fact plenty of bigger names that are in tradeable positions and I think this year's trade activity has the potential to see quite a few top end players change sweaters.

And again why we need to get rid of fan voting for the All-Star game. Four Ottawa Senators at the All-Star game and they all have to start the game. Fuck I hate fan voting. This stupid shit needs to be done away with. All-star game is boring enough, now I have to watch the star of it with Alfredsson, Michalek and Spezza as 3 of 6 forwards, while a bunch of studs all sit on the bench.
