I agree with that. I may have a hatred towards the Penguins in general, but Crosby is a fun player to watch. He is one of the reasons hockey is starting to catch back on, and you have to appreciate that as an NHL fan, your own team allegiance set aside.

Here is the thing I think people miss about Sid. Can you remember any time other then that hit that put him out that sid got blown up? Even the Hedman hit wasn't anything insane, but rather he already had the injury and that just made it worse.

I won't say Crosby is the new Gretzky and no one can touch him, but he does a very good job at staying away from the hits and using his speed to get away from things. You really don't see Crosby taking the hits that Savard and Lindros would have because he isn't that type of playing. Am I saying he has never had a huge hit on him? No. I am just saying he does a very good job of avoiding those situations. The hit by Steckle was nothing more then a fluke/cheap shot depending on who you talk to. It could have happened to anyone, but it happened to Sid.

They can do this on a flipping Friday, but WHY YOU NO DO THIS EVERY SATURDAY.

Fucking NHL, this is exactly the shit I have been saying to do. You got this sexy deal with NBC, so get those fuckers, and TSN and CBC all showing hockey on Saturday. Get pre-game shows like NFL does, like 2 hrs before game time, and get some good characters on the shows and you get a winner.

Just think of an line up of Pierre McGuire, get Jeremy Roenick on there as well, and add one more colour guy not named Milbury, and you got a sweet 2 hour show.
