This all could have been prevented if Favre would've just taken off or if the Vikings didn't have 12 men in the huddle which is one of the most foolish things I've ever seen.

Of course Saints fan doesn't like to hear it. It was obviously quite relevant that the NFL actually admitted errors in officiating in the game that determines who goes to the Superbowl.
It's much easier if like in the divisional round, the Cowboys and Cardinals both lose by 31 points and then the officiating never gets a chance to come into question.Comment

What is very surprising to me is that Mr Bill is actually a Packers fan and actually fighting to the death to defend the Vikings. Do you love Farve that much that you would cheer for the enemy of your favor team(and even play with them in Madden)?
Deion Sanders is my all time favorite player and when he went to the Cowboys I still continued to hate them.Comment

Why wouldn't I use the Vikings in Madden for one of my leagues this year? The Packers were already taken and the Vikings had a good defense, my favorite player at QB and a top 5 RB.Comment

I wasnt rooting for either team but it made me sick and ruined the game in overtime with the officiating.
PI was weak, at least confer it with some other officials
Spot was weak... he clearly fumbled and lost foward progress. I believe there has to be someway using diffent camera angles and players bodies to etermine a good spot.
The catch bobble ground bobble ..LMAO are fucking serious. That was complete BS. The worst and deciding call of the game.
Just sad a GG was put into the officails hands. PI needs to be a reviewable call also. To many times you see a big PI penalty called that was bs.Comment

BTW Gmen-49ers divisional playoffs... we woulda beat TB that year... muff FG, pass interfence and incorrect illegal man downfield...fuck officalsComment

I think that fighting to the death is overstating it. If you go back and read the threads on the NFC championship game, I have said nothing other than the turnovers, including Favre's picks, compounded by bad officiating cost them the game. The fact that the league acknowledged on Wednesday night that the officiating was bad was thread worthy.

The madden reference was more of a joke but since are talking about it, Packs were open early in the season so you had the option to get them if you wanted them. And again, most packer fans despise the vikes no matter how good they are but if its true that you are mainly a fan of farve and not the pack then I completely understandComment

I've always been a Packers fan but want to see the Saints do good since they are the hometown team for where I grew up. Favre has always been my favorite player though so I am going to root for him no matter what team he is playing for.Comment

You knew this was coming after Pierra admitted they were missed penalties in the game the other night....
League fines Saints’ McCray $20K for hits on Favre
The NFL fined Saints DE Bobby McCray a total of $20,000 for two incidents involving unnecessary roughness, according to a league source.
In the first quarter of last Sunday’s NFC Championship Game, McCray unnecessarily delivered a blow to Vikings QB Brett Favre, who was out of the play. Additionally, during the third quarter, McCray delivered a blow to Favre’s knee area.Comment

Youre a falcons fan so your opinion is invalid
I remember that game. A definite low point in NFL playoff officiating.
