But both sides couldn't come to an agreement the times they met. Don't see how you're going to hold it against him.

These guys werent top competition at the time? You have to consider Pride and Japan in general enjoy the freak show, so matches like Zulu and Hong Man have to be expected in the mix. Hes now been unable to fight top level talent in the UFC because well.. hes not in the UFC. But he still fought guys like Sylvia and Arlovski in the last couple years, despite my feelings on Sylvia, these guys were also regarded as "top level talent" at the time they fought Fedor. I dont really see why Fedor should take the flack PBF does in this regard.
Hes only faced but a couple top ranked guys since 05. I could argue Floyd has faced better talent in that time period including his upcoming fight with Shane.

C'mon everyone else can come to an agreement except for Fedor? Floyd and PacMan couldn't come to an agreement so then why hold it against him? Like Rob has said many times now it's all about the money, which if that's true then the best offer was with the UFC.

You dont fuck with Mafia 1. After Mousasi's wife dies you'll understand why Fedor doesnt fuck around.

Different situation. We know what Fedor wants. He is earnest in trying to build up M-1 instead and UFC isn't budging on the co-promotion. Mayweather is adamant about stricter drug testing and Pac-Man refuses out of superstition. Business decision trumps superstition decision every time.

No, Fedor can't join the UFC because he would only be able to fight 'UFC fighters', he wants to be able to maintain his likeness rights, Sambo, fight in Japan or different orgs, etc...

At this point he can't fight 'UFC Fighters' because the UFC will not allow it

Also, you don't know that the UFC is the 'best offer', we pretty much found out the UFC's offer wasnt what they said it was, he actually gets more guaranteed money when he was with Affliction and with SF I believe

Fedor makes a nice chunk of money and is now part owner in M-1 also

“I can say that the guaranteed -- and the word ‘guaranteed’ is of great importance here -- the guaranteed offer made by the UFC is less than what Fedor made before,” Raimond said. “The five-million (per fight) is way, way, way out of range. Half of that is even way out of range of what they offered.”

                    ...

“And there were a number of provisions attached to that offer that made it very much less interesting,” Raimond said.

Many of those provisions involved the branding of M-1 within the UFC organization, according to Raimond.

“We made it clear that Fedor, now and forever is part, even part owner, of M-1 and those two cannot be separated,” Raimond said. “If the rest of M-1 is excluded from any kind of deal, it makes the deal difficult.”
