good opponent, gave him a tough match, Fedor arguably may have been losing up until the KO
" " Reem dismantled the same opponent
    LOST

If you want to say that Fedor has fought good opponents, fine. But, it's hypocritical to praise that list and then bash Reem for his.

Until fedor losses his baby fat I can't take him as a serious challenger to the reem, it will look like a fat kid after school against the star linebacker

The reem by locker stuffing round 1

Overeem beating werdum is better for mma overall, it sets up a super fight against fedor, fedor and werdum can fight any time and everyone will just think fedor will win, it would put a damper on the tournament

don't be a selfish fan, support the reem

I didn't "praise" either list, that's the point. Even that Fedor list of so-so opposition shits on the straight up garbage Overeem has faced. Again, Overeem has faced the worst collection of bums compared to any other top level fighter in MMA history.

If you want to say Overeem has faced the same level of comp as Fedor, you are either trolling, or completely lost. Even the most hardcore Overeem backers wouldnt say he's faced better comp than Fedor.

I thought it was pretty obvious those picking Overeem are doing it for the novelty of picking a roided monster that would essentially be Ivan Drago in MMA.
I didnt think anything outside of of that would be mentioned...I was mistaken.

Not now, but you have tried to hype up Fedor's opponents before. Basically both guys have beaten 2 good opponents as of late, but Reem is called a bum for that. Meanwhile you guys go as far as trying to turn Tim Sylvia into one of the best HWs ever to legitimatize Fedor's recent wins. That's trolling.

Big Tim is not a great fighter, never was, but the facts are he was a dominate UFC champ and was like 1 fight removed from fighting for the title, plus highly ranked for whatever its worth

More of a knock on the UFC's HW division than Tim, but the guy is better than mostly all of Overeem's recent wins

Anyway, thanks to Strikeforce/Showtime and M-1 we will see these guys fight in the best tournament since PRIDE

I don't recall any of the bold.

But like I said, now it doesnt matter, because Overeem will finally face some real comp soon enough.

Gian Villante is a big time prospect, you will see him on BE top prospect list soon, but he is somewhat smaller, futrure probably at LHW which is a good thing for Strikeforce, I guess he is a local draw from the area

He is currently 7-1 with 5 TKO's, 2 subs, his lone loss is from an arm injury

Looks like he was a very good football and wrestler in high school and college

Gianpiero Villante (born August 18, 1985 in Wantagh, NY) is an American mixed martial arts fighter. He is currently the heavyweight champion for Lou Neglia's Ring of Combat promotion.[3] Fighting out of Long Island, New York, he trains at Bellmore Kickboxing Academy[1] under trainer Keith Trimble,[4]as well as D'Arce BJJ.[2] Prior to his fighting career, he projected as a linebacker prospect in the NFL.[5]

[edit] BiographyVillante was born in Wantagh, NY. He graduated from General Douglas Macarthur High School Class of 2003. During his junior year, he placed 3rd in the New York State Wrestling Championships. He followed this up his senior year by winning the state championship. He was equally accomplished in football, in which he received the 2002 Thorpe Award winner as the top football player in Nassau County because of the great blocking from his center Dennis E. Murphy of the 2002 Nassau county champs MacArthur Generals, also the Bill Piner Award as the top linebacker in Nassau County and was named to the High School Heisman All-Star team.[6] He attended Hofstra University from 2003-2007 where he continued his highly successful football and wrestling careers [7].. Having been named a 2004 1st Team Defensive I-AA All-American by The Sports Network, he was regarded as a potential NFL quality linebacker, the New York Giants, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, & Philadelphia Eagles all expressed interest in Villante.[8][9]

After defeating Strikeforce veteran Mike Cook in his last fight for the vacant Ring of Combat Heavyweight title, Villante will make his light heavyweight debut at Ring of Combat XXIX with aspirations on becoming a champion in two weight classes.[10]

Who has SF signed in the past month or two? Not extended, but new guys brought into the mix?

Just curious to see because Bellator is signing up a bunch of guys for all their season 4 tournaments.
