Just curious to see because Bellator is signing up a bunch of guys for all their season 4 tournaments.
Well, you said they had no room for anymore fighters, since than they tried to sign Duffee, signed Villante a top prospect in the sport, a kickboxing champ and olympic medalist on thw womens side

So basically you just made something up and tried to pass it a long like they cant sign anymore fighters

      That Overeem poster is sick.

Tried to find that post, can't recall exactly what I said but I vaguely remember saying their roster was full.

I was wrong, especially since they plan to run so many shows this year and potentially a PPV (then again, we've been saying that for years re: PPV).

Well, looks like they had problems getting 5 round fights with the other comisisions, all fights will be 3 round fights, THE REEM's title will not be on the line (ugh) and the winner if its not Overeem will be the GP champ and get a title shot

I dont like it, always hated when Pride had non-title fights, but guess they didnt want 1 guy to fight 5 rounds and the others just 3

Anyway, still great fights and good job of Overeem wanting to fight and not sit on the sidelines

-Each heavyweight tournament fight will be 3, five minute rounds.

-Overeems belt WILL NOT be on the line.

-The winner of the tournament will get a shot at the belt (if Overeem wins, WTF?)

-Coker said fighters "won't be competing elsewhere between tournament fights" but cannot say if Overeem will fight in K-1...although he's "committed" to the tournament

-No draws. A 4th judge will be used to settle any potential draws.

Strikeforce continues to crap on there own HW belt, I just dont understand it, this fight between Overeem and Werdum was for everything and finally made the belt matter

Winner of this is still the linear champion of just about every relevent championship line, making the REAL linear champ much easier to follow.

Correction on mine, the finals will be 5-rounds for the GP Championship.

                    Cool.

                      This.

This should be a sufficient work around for not having a title.

Seems funny that the Coker had problems with commissions, but....
                          - @JoshGrossESPN: Coker's position that SF couldn't make 5R fights because it was too difficult with different regulators is ridiculous. California, N.J., Missouri, Tennessee told me 5R fights were fine by them. All said they had not been approached by Strikeforce re: it.

Yup, that sounds like a giant cop out by Coker. If Overeem loses in the first round to Werdum and Werdum win the whole thing, do we really want to see Werdum-Reem 3 for the HW title?

From what I understand is that the NSAC is the only ones who currently allow it, don't know why all this commissions are all cool about it now
