Yeah. I'm a bit pissed that Sengoku would just let Santiago walk like that. Not a good move considering he was their biggest champion. I guess that SRC intends to keep that wallet tight. On a recent UStream interview when they are discussing how they run their company, I think they intended to have their highest paid fighter around $11K.

Because it's a sport and it's about the individual fights, fans like you don't care about that and don't want to move the sport forward, stuck on promotions business model and not the fights

            It's sports entertainment.

            It's not 100% pure sport.

You may not like it, but it's the way it is.

"Well, 700 is still a good number..."

                          "stop hatin' on Dana!"

"He was probably just guessing based on early hype, he wasnt far off..."

Wow, some of these guys will make any excuse for this. The bottom line, is he texted a PPV estimate THE DAY OF THE SHOW, which is absurd, no matter who he intended to send it to. The fact he sent it to a guy who has a rep of kissing his ass just makes it look so much worse.

In two hours, this article got more hits than anything else I have on that site.

Nobody wants to read a nice in depth piece on Bellator, or learn about the lineal world championship, but write something about Dana, and the hits keep on coming.
