ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT!!!!! I can't emphasize this enough, Briere is a proven scorer in the play-offs and Gomez is a fucking stiff now, there's NO WAY the Flyers trade Briere.

Carter, Hartnell or Carle would be out before they even had the slightest thought of moving Briere.

There is no way Gagne returns IMO after the season Tampa is having. I'd assume he'll be a quick resign.

I'm fairly sure Philly will not do anything with the goalie situation this offseason, and any move will just be a smoke-and-mirror one. They can't afford the big names, and guys like Rolo and Emery I can easily see resigning.

And after the playoffs quick had, I really don't see why they would move him.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

              "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

I think they are going to keep both. Teams are hording goaltenders at this point- they are a valuable commodity right now. Enough teams have multiple goalies that the trade market is nearly non-existent, save for a goalie like Dwayne Roloson around the deadline.

The Kings could definitely use some offense, but I could see them partnering up to take someone like Alexander Semin, or even Carter (but it wouldn't be a trade for Quick.) The Kings are one of the few teams that have cap space that could take someone like Semin or Carter, and still have some room to move under the cap.

Either way, it is about time that the Kings get a goal scorer to pair up with Kopitar.
