So you guys think he's been a success?

He was brought in to immediately be a top guy. They thought they were buying one of the five or so biggest stars in the world, a no brainer main eventer. He isnt even close yet.

Now, some of that is no doubt his size, and an audience that has been taught that small = jobber. But they have done everything possible, from different lighting to squash matches to vignettes...and he's looked "fine". Well, he isnt supposed to look fine, he's supposed to look like a guy who was drawing 30,000 per week 4 years ago and working credibly at the top.

Moving him to SD was a sure sign that they dont trust him yet live.

It is if they give the ball to whoever they bring in because they dont think he can carry it.

Now, if Averno or whoever else comes in to do jobs for him, then all it means is they are giving him a comfy opponent.

Remember when TAKA was brought in to do jobs for Great Sasuke, but ended up outshining him and getting his contract? I can see a savvy veteran like Averno doing something similar. Who knows. Could all be a moot point until we see who it is they signed.

Zack Ryder (WWWYKI) and Evan Bourne have >5m matches err week on Supastahs.

Mistico is extremely limited in a WWE environment. I don't even know why this is being discussed. He's be awful and botching shit left and right in a company where things are so limited there are rarely major botches. He's gets weekly appearances on Botchamania already.

He's been fine if we are talking about some undercard flyer who they called up from FCW to work Superstars or job on RAW.

But the guy was brought in to main event for fucks sake. It's been nothing short of a disaster. I'm with you, brother.

If he's been brought in to main event, then fuck yeah, it's been a failure.

How do you expect a guy to be able to main event when he's been on TV for close to two months and hasn't talked a single time. Language barrier is more of a detriment than his in-ring work IMO.

I don't even think he's been "fine" for a WWE undercard flyer from FCW. I see Evan Bourne doing everything better than Mistico and has since he showed up in the E.

All those guys were monster heels with the exceptions of Goldberg (he has the obvious look) and Sting (who was already over with WCW fans and had a great feud going with the nWo)....and of course Fedor, but when was he a heel?

                          Screw Mascaras.

Name me a 5'5 foreigner who can get over in America as a main event level babyface without talking.

Rey Mysterio...was way over with the American audience (so much so that the WWE audience embraced him as soon as he showed up) while he was doing flippy shit in WCW.

There are a few guys in that list who are GREAT comparisons to Mistico.

-The Great Muta came into WCW in 1989, and immediately caught fire and main evented against Flair, Sting, and Luger. He was so over, that people still talk about him today, over 20 years later, like he was a WCW regular. He was there for like 6 months.

-Sabu never said a word his entire career until Vince made him cut that awful promo on WWECW.

-Mil Mascaras was a dynamic lucha flyer who never cut an english promo in his life, but main evented in every territory he ever was a part of.

All three came into territories and were so dynamic, so original, so charasmatic, that it didnt matter that they never spoke. Mistico was supposed to do the same. He hasnt gotten over because his athleticism and flying hasnt lived up to the hype. It has nothing to do with the fact he hasnt spoke.

                                Ayako Hamada and Ayumi Kurihara.

                                Should have been more specific.
