Great, you pay cash to watch an event live on PPV, sweet, that doesn't make you any better than anyone else like you want to make it sound.

"Oh, you don't have Sunday Ticket and watch every NFL game? Then you aren't a football fan, you are just a Packers fan." Listen to yourself.
again, what are you saying? nothing that has to do with what I am posting, I am not attacking you, if you fit the profile that I am talking about and dont like it thats your deal

It is not about Affliction, I dont care about Affliction, I dont buy there overpriced shirts, it is about paying for cards based on the fighters or the best fighter in the world

If you are a MMA fan and want to watch the best HW in the world who some think is the best fighter in the world, you find a way to watch and if you have to pay, you pay

If 'insert new promotion' pops up and puts on Fedor vs Overeem or Fedor vs Brett Rogers and a bunch of other good fighters like Vitor, Babalu, Gomi, etc...on it, I will more than likely pay for it because I like watching great fighters fight

This is multiple times you have come after me without me ever mentioning your name, try and keep it civil please, thanks

Rob is pretty much a douchebag 99% of the time. The other % is him posting funny pictures.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

And again, would you consider someone who doesn't pay for Sunday Ticket and just watches the games they get on CBS/NBC/Fox just a "Packers fan" and not a "Football fan"? No, because it is stupid.

If someone likes MMA, they will watch whatever they can get easily. Affliction has no regular show, they have no way to watch other than to pay to watch it. Just because someone doesn't want to fork over 40 bucks doesn't make them any less of a fan of MMA.

This is a much different situation and I'm not trying to say that you're any less of a fan. If Affliction was well established and not on the brink of possibly going out of business then I wouldn't care if you bought the PPV or downloaded the fight afterwards. But, in this case I guess I just feel that the hardcore fans should almost feel obligated to support Affliction. We should all want them to stick around and the only way to have that happen is by buying their PPVs. Again if any PPV is worth $40 it's Affliction's. Also, this next card is suppose to be even cheaper than that, so it's well worth it.

And people wonder why a lot of hardcore fans have issues with the way that the UFC treats fighters...

No main event set yet, though it is expected Rich Franklin will headline the event. Cro Cop is also rumored to be on the card
The main event is Cro Cop vs. Junior Dos Santos.

UFC is running too many shows and obviously hurting for ME's.

The idea is that Dos Santos will win, and it will help elevate him. We'll see. I live in Texas now, 3 hours from Dallas, I might go to this.

not as stacked as recent cards but still a decent one, i think it should be a free one but they seem to save all those for the overseas events.didnt realize but this PPV is going heads-up with the mayweather fight.

The part in bold is actually not even close to being accurate.

UFC 100 is estimated to have done between 1.4-1.7 million ppv buys.

Bars/restaurants/etc accounted for.... a whopping 5,000 of those buys. Those 5,000 buys are an all time record for any PPV event in history.

And the reason most bars won't show Affliction, or boxing that dosent involve PBF or Oscar, or wrestling other than WrestleMania, is because they have to pay based on square footage, and if you cant cover the cost in cover charges, there is no reason to order the event. Bars don't pay the same $40 induviduals pay. A large place can pay upwards of $1000 to air a ppv.

Half of the shit Dana tries to impose would never hold up in court. And the fighters know it. Otherwise, they would never sign that shit.

You can't trademark a birthname as intellectual property. That's why Vince McMahon gives everyone a gimmick name.

What you can do is make money off there image long after they are no longer on pay roll though.
