Affliction has brought you Fedor vs Tim, Fedor vs AA and now Fedor vs Barnett, something the UFC could not pull off and only a small percentage of MMA fans have supported it which is sad

Everyone who says they love MMA, thinks Fedor is number 1 and than dont pay for Affliction but buy every UFC are clowns

Fedor vs Barnett is the best possble HW fight at this point, it needs to be supported, but poeple look and see no UFC logo and pass

lol... Affliction has brought me nothing but Fedor beating up on UFC has beens.
And other UFC has beens vs other UFC has beens.
Outside of Fedor and Barnett noone on there roster is worth talking about.

This aint boxing im not paying 40+ dollars to see a bunch of shitty undercards and one superpower kill his opponent in under a minute.

I dont buy UFC fights all that often. But even there free event gave us a potential FOTY.
Machida/Evans,Sanchez/Guida,Hendo/Bisping, Over the last 2 months is already 3 fights better than anything Affliction has had there 2 PPVs.

Dont market UFC hasbeens , get a fuckin cage not some outdated roped ring , and hire people to make production at least up to par. Feels like Im watching 1980s AWA wrestling with affliction.

3 events in a year and Fedor Barnett is the only thing work talking about.
Best reason to have a license.

WHooaa, whooaa  . KOF you usually post some good shit, but this is bananas right here. Bisping and Hendo was a good fight??? FOTY at that? That fight was awful. It wasn't even a fight really, that was a horrible matchup to begin with and Bisping couldn't do much of anything to even make a fight out of it. I really don't see how such a lopsided fight makes your best of the year list. I'd say that easily at least 85% of Afflictions fights were better than that. There have been a handful of WEC fights that were 10x better than those three you listed. Aside from Sanchez vs Guida fight, which was actually a good matchup and lived up to it.

AA vs Fedor wasn't a fight worth talking about? AA had a legit shot at beating Fedor and he proved to be tough competition for him. Even Fedor admitted that was one of his toughest fights yet. That was a matchup for the ages really and stylistically it made for an interesting watch.

Every Affliction undercard from top to bottom blows the UFCs out of the water. Some of the guys are former UFC fighters, but all of them are still very talented and relevant to the sport. The main thing here is Affliction’s match-making which is simply better than the UFC’s. So, Affliction might not have all of the top talent, but they put together matches that are usually more interesting than the matches the UFC is putting on. The only difference is the marketing, the UFC is capable of making a dull matchup such as the Bisping vs Hendo fight seem like something that’s worth paying for, and a lot of guys just eat that shit up. Your complaint of the cage is just further proof of the UFCs marketing grasping you by the neck.

lol, oh man, I was going to post in the Affliction thread that I was waiting for you to call this a bunch of UFC rejects because you have become so predictable when it is a non-ufc card

AA won 3 straight fights in the UFC before fighting Fedor, that is not a UFC has been
Tim won 6 fights in a row, lost a decision to Randy, beat Vera and lost a title fight to Nog, that is not a has been
Mousasi is not a UFC has been
Babalu won his last UFC fight, not a has been
Vitors last fight in the UFC was a split decison lose to tito for the title which many people thought he won, he is not a UFC has been
            Yvel is not
The UFC wanted to sign Paul for more fights but signed in Strikeforce for more money

Just stop, according to your theory half the UFC guys are UFC has beens, what was Diego after losing to Kos and Fitch? What is Chuck now? Is Wand a UFC has been?

So Dan and Hendo were UFC has beens back in the day, than were Pride Stars, now are back in the UFC, so if they leave they become UFC has beens X 2?

I love how a guy loses 1 fight in the UFC, they dont resign him and than they are has beens, but the UFC has guys who have been crushed 2 or 3 times in row are still signed and than are headlining cards and everyone creams over them

I guess Anderson Silva is a Pride has been than?

Pretty sure you and Mamba should reread that part. He wasn't saying Bisping/Hendo was fight of the year. He said the FOTY was on one of the free shows. I assume he was talking about Guida/Sanchez.

Yea I wasn't sure if those three were his FOTY canidates so far and that one of those were free being a bonus, or just the Guida being FOTY. Either way Hendo/Bisping shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as the matches that Affliction has put on, so point doesn't change.

As for Affliction cards vs UFC cards, I agree, Affliction cards are better. But which ones are more interesting for the average fan. A few very skilled guys that they don't really know or care about fighting in a ring that they aren't used to seeing OR a few average to above average guys that they have seen and know about through a series of fights in a setting that they are used to (a cage). Gee... I wonder which would sell...

Also, I completely agree with the argument of ring vs cage. I would take cage 100% of the time. A ring is silly when guys are nearly falling out of the ring. It takes a whole level out of the strategy of the fight. The cage is a key aspect of UFC fighting and part of the reason people like it so much.

There are like 10 people normally in this forum. Even if we were all to buy, it wouldn't make a dent. A lot of MMA fans get their events free through streaming and other means.
