Last time I saw Jason Guida fight was the October ShoXC show. He was brutal, and not in a good way. He basically gave up and then got angry at the ref for stopping it, despite the fact that he was not fighting back at all. Lashley should destroy him.

The Lashley-Guida fight was crazy boring and im pretty disapointed that Bobby didnt smosh dude, but a UD has to make Lashley happy atleast.
Sidenote: The Stoppage in the Roy Jones Jr. fight was absolutely brutal.Comment

Okami is a ADCC level grappler, Maia barely beat him on points and couldnt sub him, he would smother Silva and GnP him for a win
Silva a beast, but the hype train is out of controlLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings

I dont buy it.. Rob you're just anti-establishment, I love you for that. Okami was in a great position to finish Silva, but shit happens, especially with a great fighter like Silva. Theres no guaranteeing Okami would've GnP'd Silva.. hes finished a number of fighters in his career, but none the caliber of Anderson. Regardless, Okami is overdue for a title shot, no doubt, but I doubt Dana fears anyone at middleweight beating Anderson.Comment

hype train? hes 23-4 with 9 wins in a row. dana seems to hate okami so who the f knows if they will fight. akiyama gets a title shot before okami ... book itComment

Even if Anderson is a top 5 UFC fighter its still a pretty high accomplishment. Technicalities of whos actually the best p4p in the world are kind of irrelevant when the talent level being discussed is so high.Comment

lol, Dana at it again, I told you he fears Okami
A source close to the camp of UFC middleweight contender Demian Maia has informed CagePotato.com that the Brazilian is expected to be offered the next middleweight title shot against the winner of the Anderson Silva/Thales Leites bout (in other words, Silva) late this summer.
There's no official date set, but our source says Maia's camp is expecting the bout to take place in late August, which would most likely put it at UFC 102 in Portland, Ore. The middleweight title bout would certainly bolster a card that's rumored to be headlined by Randy Couture returning home to the Pacific Northwest to take onAntonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
If anybody's earned a shot at the middleweight strap, it's Maia. The undefeated submissions wiz made Chael Sonnen look like a novice in his last bout, and his jiu-jitsu skills would offer a challenge that we haven't yet seen Silva face during his run as UFC champion.
Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
