Thats coming from the owners mouth.. so.

In other news: Bobby Lashley announced on his Twitter (what a great media source) that his next fight will be against Bob Sapp. That should be fun.

As for the Silver-GSP debate, I don't feel these last two fights have dropped Silva in that regard. While I love St. Pierre and I think he's very close to Silva, I would still put Silva slightly above. They both have their flaws, but I think Silva's run in the UFC has been more dominant, whereas that KO by Serra will always be there for GSP. While I'm bitching about these last two Silva fights and what I perceive as a lack of aggression and a willingness to win by points, he's still winning and clearly winning. He's just not winning in the manner we've become accustomed to. That becomes a bit more understandable if the level of competition was going up, but it makes less sense when its the opposite. As I've said before, I would very much prefer to believe that Anderson Silva in his last two fights was no different in his style and approach than in his previous ones, but I just can't deny what I see.

Oh, and agree with KOF that Fedor above both.

he is a submisstion fighter so he had a better chance to catch him in a submission from the ground, he was hoping Silva would engage him on the ground.

like WWE to a extent you will see some riavires develope heading into a ppv more times then not this is just to sell a card (really more like boxing then wrestling) but there are a few true heated Riviries

The only "grudge" I can think of nowadays is Matt Hughes & Matt Serra (they're fighting at UFC 98). Besides them, everything else is usually just to build hype for a fight.

MMA is not a work (predetermined) like pro wrestling is.

As for Leites/Silva....Anderson Silva is one of the most dangerous strikers in the UFC so if Leites tried to stand and trade punches/knees/kicks with him, he would have been knocked out.

Interesting. Could be a really good fight if Shogun really is back. There is enough talent at LHW that there are options, though.

                          p4p rankings according to liquidrob

                          1. Fedor
                          2. GSP
                          3. And1 Silva
                          4. Rashad
                          5. BJ in LW form

                          Fedor above all

GSP has the best resume, fighting top 10 guys fight after fight, he has avenged both his losses, Silva can not say that, Fedor also avenged his 'loss'

Also, he beats Serra 9 out of 10 times, Serra threw the lotto punch and landed, after that GSP dismantled him from the first second of there next fight, shit happens

And1 has 2 blaring losses to sub par fighters, both subs, so thats something while GSP got subbed by Hughes than KO'ed him and subbed him after that

Silva even with his last 2 hurt him, he got to gimmie fights and went almost 8 rounds

If they give you guys like that you put them away or atleast try and put them away, instead of doing wing chun hands, DDR and shoulder shakes

If Rashad takes out Machida is bumps And1 IMO

I already have Shad above Silva but if he defeats Machida it'll be hard to argue against it, period.

                                Akiyama may be overrated.
