Soccer had the revival in America in the late 80's/early 90's when Liverpool were still in their last period of dominance.
People hopped aboard the Liverpool train and then passed it on to others. Still doesn't really change a thing IMO. Liverpool have been below us preety much all season, and Hughton had already scalped Arsenal and Chelsea, this probably only ranks as our 5th best win of the season IMO (Behind the Mackems, Chelsea, Arsenal and Villa).
