Maybe they should've slipped him a couple of brown envelopes in 2008 when they had the chance then before they hired Keegan.

Can someone tell me why there are so many Liverpool fans in America?

Soccer had the revival in America in the late 80's/early 90's when Liverpool were still in their last period of dominance.

People hopped aboard the Liverpool train and then passed it on to others. In 15 years, even if they aren't as good as they are now, we'll be seeing Man Utd as the top club (if it isn't already) as the next generation of Soccer fans have grown up with them as top of the pile.

So Mike Ashley sacked Chris Hughton because he wanted a more 'Showbiz' manager in charge.

So who are they going to get to fill that role? David Beckham? Jose Mourinho? Tom Cruise?

            No,

It looks like it's Mr Showbusiness himself, Alan Pardew!

Mike Ashley, more pies than sense.
            Z(u, w) = Z0(w)[1-exp{-b(w)u}]

...and she said "Well I don't think you're a fishmonger. I think you've done a plop in the wrong lavatory."

It's all good, supposedly he got sacked from his previous job for banging one of his star players wife. In 6 months we'll be rid of him when he tries it on with Andy Carrolls misses and ends up in a ditch, beaten to death.

I read somewhere the other day, that Mike Ashley included a very low compensation package when the axe comes down.

Can't wait till Monday. So I can watch Arsenal further implement themselves as the #1 dog. When they beat Man Utd.

Still doesn't really change a thing IMO. Liverpool have been below us preety much all season, and Hughton had already scalped Arsenal and Chelsea, this probably only ranks as our 5th best win of the season IMO (Behind the Mackems, Chelsea, Arsenal and Villa).

Players were probably riding a "do it for Chris" emotional wave as well. Pardew can still go suck my cock. Unless he get's us 6th or wins the FA Cup there was still no reason to sack Hughton.
