They're getting rid of a spot here, for probably a better player. I don't think Dax is a DP of any kind.

DeRo wasn't a DP. He made over 400k, but they never designated him as a DP. They should still have 1 extra DP spot open though because of JPA leaving for L.A. in the off-season.

Rumor has it that they are trying to open up cap space for a keeper, possibly Marcus Hahnemann. But, rumor also has it that Seattle is willing to take Hahnemann to take over for next year for Keller.

I couldn't be happier. He is going to have quite a bit of playing time for SAFC, and Liverpool couldn't possibly overpay for a backup, could they? I've heard of him as the second coming of Wayne Rooney, and if this is true then how about two or three good years before we sell him off.

Now SAFC just needs to shore up the negotiations with Darron Gibson, Craig Gardner, John O'Shea, and N'Zogbia and we'll have something to work with.

SAFC has added Korean phenom Ji-Dong Won, and Birmingham City's Craig Gardner in the last 24 hours as well. Are these guys any good? The team looks to be a lot different next year, and I'm hoping for the better.
