I don't think Eto'o is moving for any reason other than money. It looks like a pure cash grab... but its a whole lot of cash. I give it til the end of the Russian season (end of the year) before he wants out.

Sneijder is a helluva talent but I do wonder about him physically holding up in the Prem. Interesting that Inter paid less than half of that for him two years ago. Nice piece of business...

It has the best spine (keeper Joe Hart, defenders Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott, midfielders Nigel de Jong and Yaya Toure) in the league, it's cagey and pragmatic in its style of play, and, with its new addition Sergio "Kun" Aguero, it has one of the most talented strikers in Europe.

Anyway, I'm bummed City opens up on a Monday afternoon. I was hoping to wake up Saturday or Sunday and get some wake and bake action in while watching them.
