Some quick math tells me that Manchester City spent 141.19m GBP on the strike force that gave me them 60 goals last season. That converts to $227.62 US. 20 of those goals came from Tevez alone. Clearly, throwing another 40m at the situation will make it all right and good.

Seriously, the amount of money that Citeh has spent and wasted in the past 3 seasons is astounding. If ever a supporter fails to grasp why other fans won't take the club seriously, its that. Arsenal has spent less on its entire squad than City has on its forwards and the results the two sides manage to obtain are quite similar.

From about the 36th minute on the US played great soccer. Really nice to see. Shea, Donovan, and Agudelo dominated when they played together.

Castillo in the back was REALLLY shaky.
