So somehow, Randy Lerner has spent £30 mil to get his team out of the relegation zone, when it (likely) could have kept the man who got them into Europe and challenging the Top 4 by giving him the same amount of money 6 months ago

MON left because Lerner told him that before he would open the chequebook again he would have to slash the wage bill, by getting rid of the shit MON signed - he spunked 30 million alone on Heskey, Davies, Neo-Roker and Cueller. Lord know's how much they were on a week, not unreasonable for Lerner to request that he sell that trash and get it off the wage bill before he lets him throw away more money.

Jose is actually short strikers. Higuan could be done for the year, and Benzema is a bitch. They don't really have any other recognized strikers on the roster. It's so bad they are begging HSV to give them Van Nistelrooy back for free
