Watching the Arsenal-Everton match from earlier. Unless Everton poured on the pressure in the last few minutes, this is one of the more one-sided 1-0 wins I can think of. Arsenal were pretty much shite in terms of finishing until the van Persie goal, which was brilliance.
Missed the pre-game ceremonies, which sound quite classy.
Going to have to miss watching the Classico today but I'll PVR it and watch it tomorrow morning before NFL. Go Madrid...Comment

Typical Classico so far. Some diving, some complaining, a few players should be sent off, and entertaining football.
Also, people who call themselves madristas and watch two games a year.Originally posted by mgoblue2290If you want to win, put Drew in.Comment

Agreed. However, in the last 10 minutes both Ramos and Coentrao have come in with really dirty sliding challenges. Ramos probably could have seen red, and I wouldn't have said it was bad it Coentrao did tooComment

This is the worst an Everton side has looked in a long time that's for certain. Not even Moyes can save this mess.Comment

I hope Kenwright understand we need money for transfers.
I guess before the game Moyes said that Everton would have trouble/would not score today. That'll get the lads motivated.
Also, we need Rodwell and Drenthe back.

I planned all day to watch the replay of Barca and Madrid, but at the B-day party I was at the scoreline kept popping up at the bottom and I just said fuck it and saw the final score.
Was it like the past years though, every foul was a 2 minute debate with both teams screaming at the ref? If so...Ill be glad I missed it.Comment

And yet, it's still light years ahead of watching Italian football.Comment

Happy to see Chelsea take down City today. Great win for them. Gotta admit that it feels really really weird to cheer for Chelsea. While a City win would have helped Arsenal a bit more in the short term, I think that keeping City from running away with the title is better overall for the Prem.Comment
