I've heard a few others mention this, but he wasn't that bad. What specifically are you referring to?

Amazed Chelsea pulled that one out, credit to AVB for eliminating the high line after it clearly wasn't working (questionable decision to use it again, though). But other than that Mancini went way too conservative after going one up, City looked so good those first fifteen minutes but really lost any sense of creativity after. Don't think AVD made the right decisions after the red either, seemed like the perfect time for Torres and Lampard to come on, and only one did. Also continued to sit deep pretty much giving City free possession, at that point it wasn't necessary. Worked out though, so it's hard to criticize him.

Neglecting to award a stonewall Man City penalty in the 1st half. If it goes to 2-0 Chelsea would have needed a miracle to fight back.

I wouldn't say stonewall at all. Silva leaves his feat before there's even contact, I'm sure that Clattenburg gives that if he continues on, but Silva was looking for it the entire way.

Having said that, this is easily the worst refereed season in the Prem since I've started watching.

You must not have seen alot of Gael Clichy then. I Lol'd at Danny skinning him for the goal. Made it look easy.

That was far from a stonewall penalty, there wasn't even any contact. There's no way Clattenburg can give that to him when leaves his feet before potential contact.

Things certainly didn't look good after the first 15 minutes, but I thought we came back from the poor start nicely. I don't blame AVB for sticking with the 4 defenders and Romeu after City went down a man, I think he was still worried about a counter.

When choosing teams, did you just look at the one's that had the most money?

Fulham had their Europa run come to a crashing halt.

They conceded a goal literally on Odense's last possession which the game ended in a draw 2-2. It was awful. Sa had a chance at passing the ball or kicking it inside the box but instead gave up the ball which led to the game tying goal.

Clint Dempsey did have a goal though...

Just an awful loss for Fulham, Jol might be on his way out.
