Nice. It was probably the studs of the defending player, but I'm going to credit Van Buyten's massiveness for that.

Should have come away with a win if Cech could just hold on to the damn ball, but a draw still seems deserved for that game. We made so few real threats. Also don't understand why AVB took off Sturridge when he was our only player doing anything.

LeArse couldnt get it done today. Good game, but not enough quality other than Verm, and RvP.

Sorry 1ke. Was hoping they could take something away from the match.

Was half expecting a rout, to be honest. Playing four central defenders across the back because if injuries against a side like City is a frightening idea, especially when one of those defenders is as slow as Merteseacker. But they held up reasonably.

Have to agree that the Arsenal side as a whole lack the overall quality of years past. There isn't that spark of creativity from midfield often enough. Song manages it every so often but its hardly his strength. Hoping that once Wilshire is back and in form, he'll be able to provide something there.

That was a hell of a match though. Some great defending on both sides, could have been many more goals scored. Very enjoyable to watch

I am often bemused by the "toughness" of soccer players compared to other sports. But that is just... fucking ouch...

Something excites me about the bottom of the table matchup today between Bolton and Blackburn. The fact it is probably a "must win" for both managers [and a W still might not be enough for Kean] adds to the spectacle, I'll definitely be watchin

Relegation battles are always interesting. A great aspect to this sport is that finishing in the bottom part of the table comes with real consequences (except in the MLS). In most other team sports, it gets you a top draft pick.

Relegation battles are always far more interesting that title races.
