        Pre Monday Night Wars.

That's the equivalent of a Santino Marella vs Tensai main event today.

        And it did a 3.0!

Maybe biss or somebody who is privy to what these TNA downsides are compared to taking 8-10 indie shots per month has more insight. But I think this is why you see guys pass on TNA and stay on the indies. The upside is national TV, obviously. But if you aren't used, you probably lose money.

TNA pulled TJ Perkins from a St.Louis Anarchy show last week, for example. He didn't work for TNA that night to my knowledge.
Joey much like Ares was done with wrestling it seemed when hey got his shot there, the plus to the downside is you know its there and being on TV you can demand more money o indy shots, you almost need someone else getting you dates to keep your booking full like a Chris Hero use too

Let me ask you this, what good does it do to be able to parlay being on TV into more money, when TNA doesn't let you take any bookings?

Also, I know you won't say names here, but estimate how many people you know of who signed with either ROH or WWE in the last year who could have signed with TNA had they wanted to. I'm genuinely curious.

Empire has part 3 of his series on the evolution of Sting

The Evolution of Sting (1996-1998): What Does Sting Want? (Part 3/6)

The best storyline of the '90s as far as WCW was concerned revolved around Sting's transformation beginning in 1996 that dominated Nitro through 1997. You can check out the introduction to this series and part two to catch up. Where we last left off, Sting had just aligned himself with "Macho Man" Randy Savage while the others on the roster were also undergoing "the bat test." In part three, we are left to wonder, what does Sting want?

Most of the guys I know, TNA was not actively looking at when they signed with the WWE, despite what the dirt sheets may have been reporting. Much more intrested in catching people coming down then moving up

                    Another massive problem, right here.

Impact had a shot at so many young talents before WWE started raiding the indies.

"7 foot monster!" Kane, with 6'6" actor Vince Vaughn

Nothing will ever be worse than ROH pushing Brodie Lee as a "7 foot monster", when he's barely taller than me (6'0").

                        Oh those wacky wrestling promoters.

                          -Joey Ryan
                          -Christian York
                          -Madison Rayne
                          -Taeler Hendrix
                          -Crimson

Those are the confirmed talents released (Rayne is a different circumstance).

I do believe, with Hendrix, that would be ALL of the Gut Check winners and those involved being kicked to the curb, outside of Wes Brisco.

                          Crimson was trash.

They had something with Christian York. They failed him. The same can be said for Joey Ryan. Guy is a good character. Perfect curtain jerking advancement heel. While York was a solid mainstay type for the X-Division.

                          Meanwhile...they re-signed Taz.

                          LOL.

Getting mixed reports. Some say yes, some say not yet...

Either way, he's probably on the chopping block.

Sam Shaw's contract must be back breaking for Impact.
