So I just tuned into TNA, for some fucking reason...

What the FUCK is going on? Half of the roster is in one stable together?

is this the only angle that Bischoff/Hogan know how to do?

              Pretty much.

I love how they just fast forwarded everything, too...Fourtune + hWo...they just cut right to the f'n chase and joined the Ministry and Corporation and there was no delay or anything...just boom, they were all together all along...genius really.

It isn't like its just bad booking...I mean, I can deal with bad booking, but it is completely nonsensical. It just doesn't make any sense at all. If you were to read TNA's scripts like a book, it would not follow...it just wouldn't. It is brutally erratic.

I just tuned in to see The Shore...because damnit, that is awesome. But, watching more of it...its just ridiculous incoherent.

Everyone is in some sort of faction...wtf? ECW guys...all of the heels...I guess RVD, Joe, Angle, Anderson, et al are in a faction...TNA Frontline2.0?

They're basically copying the same faction warfare that's been around overseas for years.

                And in the NWA.

                And in ECW.

                And in WCW.

                And in the WWF.

And in ROH/CZW and in ROH, again.

                And in the WWE.

Blah episode. Hardly any wrestling and not enough interesting dialogue to compensate. The Jarrett/Angle exchange was really good.

Hardy doing his best Raven impression with this heel turn. I can't complain because he's been shit on the mic for ages and this is a nice improvement.

While I enjoyed Bischoff ripping into that useless bitch Tessmacher, I have zero interest in watching her wrestle. Great, let's throw another barbie broad who can't wrestle for shit into the ring while all the one's who can go are sitting on their ass waiting for the next Shimmer taping. STOP BRINGING IN DIVA REJECTS AND BRING BACK THE ONES WHO CAN WRESTLE! :yell:

This is a big opportunity for TNA to make Pope into a big star. I hope they capitalize on it.

That's true. But its not that difficult to work an old storyline in a manner that at least makes it feel fresh. TNA does not simply fail to do that, but make an overt effort to make it feel like a ripoff. Like having Fortune start off by flashing the Four Horsemen handsign, then having Flair cut a promo comparing the new guys - unfavortably - to the original Horsemen. Right off the start, it kills any possibility of Fortune feeling like anything but a Horsemen ripoff for a long long time. If Evolution started out that way, would it have been as everything but a Horsemen ripoff?

Randy Orton via Twitter on TNA: "Checked out TNA for the 2nd time ever. Samoa Joe can move. I miss working with Angle and Jeff. Coulda done w/o the JWow segment. I enjoyed the backstage stuff for the most part anyway. Something about the realness of the conversations between some of the talent was really well done"

On AJ Styles, Orton said: "never met him. Can do some amazing things in the ring. IMO has alot to do with tna's early success."

Yes and no. Pro wrestling has always been cyclical. Most of the stuff is just rehashed and redone. Which is perfectly fine IF you're rehashing stuff that was done well in the first place. We're now getting to the point where we're rehashing nonsensical things that were done in the 90s. The 90s are not an era to emulate and unfortunately we're getting to that point.

Jim Cornette always says in wrestling you can do the same gimmick over 7 years later because there's so much turnover in fans. The problem now is 7 years ago these decisions and gimmicks and storylines didn't make sense, so redoing them further digs a hole. And also, by and large in those 7 years no new stars have been created so it's essentially the same angles with the same people involved.

Randy Orton would be impressed with 2 hours of wrist locks and psychotic facial expressions. Just sayin..

"So here's the deal. Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Jeff Hardy have a secret plan to turn heel by having Abyss beat them up over and over again for seven months. As part of the plan, the heel Abyss will secretly do everything Hulk Hogan says, as opposed to openly doing everything Hulk Hogan says, which is what he was doing before he turned heel. Also, Kevin Nash and The Pope both f*cked Ms. Tessmacher, who apparently told them that Jeff Hardy was going to turn heel, which is a piece of information they decided not to share with Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson or the fans. Sting has known the whole plan since March, without even having to f*ck Ms. Tessmacher. Other parts of the plan include Abyss eliminating his co-conspirators Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett from a battle royal where they could have won $100,000 of Dixie Carter's money. Another part of the plan was Jeff Jarrett tricking Samoa Joe into being his tag team partner for no apparent reason, and then turning on him for also no reason. Despite realizing he'd been duped, Joe still tried to beat up Nash, Sting and The Pope by himself, but the three faces ganged up on the other face and beat him down. Jeff Hardy, the top merch seller in the company by a wide margin, is now the heel champion. Hogan and Bischoff, who were already in charge, are now less in charge because Dixie is now their enemy, but apparently it was all worth it to achieve the fiendish goal of moving the world title from their hand-picked champion RVD onto their hand-picked champion Jeff Hardy."

Matt Hardy was finally released today. Guessing he'll show up in TNA as soon as he can.

I think TNA could really be on to something if they make Matt Hardy a face to rally half the roster behind against his brother Jeff and his mega heel faction
