TNA is such a joke in so many ways. I would love to see them actually pull it together and do well. I like the idea of an alternative to the WWE and all, but TNA offers so little for having such talent on the roster. The only reason I watch at this point is I have it set to auto-PVR and usually have nothing to do late Thursday nights...

Sounds like indie wrestler Nick Gage may have got hurt pretty bad in a CZW show. Apparently he took a stomach wound from a light tube and its pretty serious.

        TNA is insanely terrible.

The real question is...do they know they are terrible?

With the talent they have and only 2 hours of TV per week, they have no excuse to be as bad as they are.

It isn't like they are the WWE where they have to cater to kids or an actual audience. They can do what they want, theoretically speaking and they still suck...and not just suck, but suck suck...suckiest suck that ever sucked.

        They are bad.

No, they don't. They aren't going to notably improve because they don't see the need to. From everything I read, TNA management is pretty cool with where they are. They don't see problems with having 20 minutes of wrestling on a 2 hour wrestling show. With having storylines that are painfully stupid and often illogical. With having a group of 40-plus year old veteran keeping a bunch of young talent down. With not really building for the future of the promotion at all. With repeating the same mistakes the tore down WCW.

I guess since they are not losing money, pulling decent enough ratings to keep Spike happy, and doing enough PPV buys, management is happy.

Apparently 25k-40k PPV buys makes them happy.

lol @ Batista beating Orton. What purpose does that serve?

The PPV is on Free here. Last WWE PPV was on free here. I don't get it, you'd think that kind of mistake would only happen once.

Pretty sure there isn't any "purpose" behind WWE title changes anymore. They're down to cheap hotshotting the belts around without any real logic or prestige. I mean, Orton had the belt for six weeks, so they probably just needed to move it along. No use keeping it on someone for such a long period...

So Hardy wins, then Punk cashes in MITB to win the belt. Huh. Interesting finish.

The absolute best part of Batista winning the belt from Orton is that he apparently has a torn tricep and they knew it going into the match. So he's schedule for Raw tomorrow night and then he's having surgery. One day title reign then. Awesome.

Didn't see the show, but at the very least, here's hoping they don't treat Punk like crap again as champion.

Let the man have a good reign where he can wrestle with guys who can go (Mysterio, Jericho, Edge, etc.) and not slow plodding boring guys.

Just read Tommy Dreamer won the ECW title.

                        Go Tommy!

Punk is probably going to drop the belt at the next PPV, if recent history is any indicator. The WWE is getting ridiculously bad at hotshotting the WWE and World titles around.

He got a decent run last summer, but that was at least partly because Orton and Cena were both out injured. And he was hardly booked to look strong through that title reign either. So while I'm hopeful they do right, I'm very skeptical it will happen.

Doubt Punk holds the belt long. To me, it just seems like a way to turn him heel (intentional or unintentional...intentional probably, either way, the fans were NOT happy with him winning it off Hardy last night) and transition the belt to someone else. Although I am not sure exactly who they want to have the belt. Should have kept it on Edge with him being the best performer in the company ATM.

I'd have rather seen Hardy get another run with it before Punk, tbh.

LMAO @ knowing Batista has a torn bicept (how many is that for him now, like a dozen?) and STILL going through with championship plans. I mean.. it was retarded enough to even give the guy the belt.. but after an injury?

                              Wow..

I'm sure this is just a way for them to put it up for grabs in some sort of tournament or the like, which will feature Triple H triumphantly returning to win the belt.
