I know we all touched on this before but I love how they dont even mention the fact they wrestled at Wrestlemania before.Comment

Sell the Undertaker as overconfident.
Have HHH dominate him for the first 3/4 of the match.
Undertaker overcomes the early big time beat down to win.
They've never actually had the Undertaker truly against the ropes in a match.
In the matches with Shawn, they were just two great competitors slugging it out. They never actually had the Undertaker dead on the train tracks.Comment

I see why they aren't, I just think they missed a great opportunity to actually use that history in this match.

Just caught RAW...fantastic promos.
That Undertaker/HHH/Michaels promo was immense and the best promo in a loooong time (better than Steen/Generico).
You could have had no build up to that point and that promo just catapults that match to the top of the card. Immense.Comment

i've been watching wrestling since like 97 or 98... if HHH goes over Undertaker im gonna be pissed... first he already had his shot at the streak before it was known and mentioned as "The Streak" and idk i just think hes done it all already... HHH will be remembered as great no matter what for his umpteen title reigns, DX history, big victories on big stages etc... Sure he wont go down as Austin or Hogan but he'll be remembered fondly regardless of this match... not to mention if he breaks the streak all we are gonna hear about is the BS politics the surrounds alot of HHH's success (tho some of the hate is unwarranted)... basically HHH gains nothing from breaking the streak, while the Undertaker loses a large part of his aura
now as to who should break the streak if ever? i think the streak should remain unbroken... there were a couple of chances to break the streak but they didnt do it so i think they should just let it go unbroken... i personally think Kane could have broken it during their first matchup and i think orton could have broken it
instead kane constantly got beat in their high profile matches and looked like undertakers bitch up until last year where he finally held the world heavyweight championship and really just dominated the undertaker... if kane won in their first meeting tho... he would have had sooooo much heat and momentum as THE most feared and dominant monster in wrestling
orton was picking up momentum again after the horrid face turn from evolution... he was the legend killer and i thought beating undertaker would have really cemented his place as the new cocky heel main eventer
since these two matches tho i think the streak has been handled well... tho there has been some shitty matches (cough big bossman hell in a cell cough) lol
more thoughts on any of this?Comment
